  “First visit, ordered but unfortunately no ice for drinks as reserved for coffee as low on stock. Forty minutes later mrs asked where was our food as we had a disabled child who was very hungry and this was her breakfast at 1130, she heard the chef say “no ticket!“, ten minutes later staff turn up with a single takeaway, we ordered four breakfasts. We were told only then that our ticket was lost. End result ofter 70mins no food. We left but my son got a refund for the missing breakfasts less the drinks we had consumed. Shameless behaviour by the woman behind the counter who has no customer service qualities whatsoever.”

  “Really nice little modern escape. Not cheap, but I think the price matches the quality and experience. The range of 'home made' treats at the counter are very tempting and it's especially good for Breakfast items. Always a nice atmosphere.”

  “Normally it's decent food here. Just had thier ploughman's sandwich with as advertised home slow roast ham which looked just like shiny packet ham from co op. If you didn't have any why not tell your customers that . Then we could order something else. Real let down thank you.”

  “The food is great but the staff are often very rude to younger customers (college/sixth form students). In particular, the woman with dark brown hair and a fringe and fake tan that often works at the till is always very rude and aggressive and not once ever smiles or has any manners. Other than her, the rest of the staff are okay. I’ve stopped coming here because of the unpleasant experiences, despite the food being great. The prices have also increased to ridiculous amounts.”

  “Called in for some treats and wow. I haven't had such beautiful tasting cakes since I last had my nannas baking over a decade ago (which is a compliment of the highest order). I got two brownies, a slice of lemon drizzle cake & a piece of school cake. The school cake is absolutely beautiful so fluffy & the smell of vanilla was incredible. The lemon drizzle cake was equally as nice. It was fluffy, moist, sharp and sweet. The lady serving was very lovely & friendly too. 10/10 can't wait to come back xxx”

  “A nice little spot to eat, but be cautious with pricing. I've visited a few times, and while the food and atmosphere are generally good, I've noticed some inconsistency with their pricing. The menu board lists different prices for eat-in and takeaway, which I understand is due to tax differences. However, the final price you're charged doesn't always match what’s listed. On a couple of occasions, I was overcharged when dining in, and I'm not sure if it's due to till errors or staff training issues. Just a heads-up: double-check your receipt to make sure you're being charged correctly. That said, it's still a lovely place to eat overall”

  “Nice little place clean and tidy, staff was friendly, managed to get a breakfast after the listed time had ended which was good of them to do, but for the price I can't say it was worth it cost £10.40 for full breakfast +£3 for pot of tea. Not the cheapest or best price I've ever paid and you are charged to sit in which is shown on the menu, becoming the norm adding a charge to eat in, personally I would rather it was not shown at all as it takes away from the friendly atmosphere, just have one set price. As for the meal it was fine nothing special had way better for less, tea was a fair pot got more than enough for a couple of cups. Overall probably won't go again don't think it's value for money but it's a nice friendly place. Parking is available and is shared with local shop so could be difficult to park.”

  “Found this place by mistake and what a delight. Lovely food in a clean relaxed environment . Would also recommend the club sandwich as well as the breakfast offerings. Chef’s kiss”

  “Yeah it's OK for a local. Prices verging on expensive but acceptable. Tuna panini was soft on the bottom half pointing towards microwave cooking but was still nice. £16 for two menu items and two drinks.”

  “Great products. I have visited this cafe many times and every time has been a great visit. The atmosphere is lovely, staff are very friendly and are very supportive space for customers with disabilities. Both savoury and sweet food are brilliant. The choir hun was lotus biscoff and I highly recommend! If your in the area I would visit this hidden gem”
