Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the coffee, with the espresso, cappuccino and latte described as the best tasted in a long time, and one visitor returning three times for the espresso. Close behind is breakfast: the Breakfast Bagel with fluffy scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, the veggie and full Bloom breakfasts arriving hot, and an egg bap with bacon. At lunch, diners name the schnitzel, lasagne, avocado on toast and chips, and one mentions sweet treats like cannolis. Teas and coffees come in lovely cups, and the peppermint tea arrives as steeped leaf tea in an infuser, with hot drinks served on a small wooden tray. Staff and owners are repeatedly called friendly, welcoming and helpful, and several describe the room as lovely, clean and relaxing. Dog friendly gets a mention too. No complaints appear in the reviews. One chef notes that he usually finds something to fault and could not, and a few visitors say they would return several times a week if they lived nearby.

“Amazing is a word that's overused nowadays, but #BloomCafé is amazing. Our reviewers have travelled the globe and #BloomCafé is exceptional, and they dined on the best brunch in memory. The Breakfast Bagel was delightful; delicate and fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh smoked salmon with a segment of lemon to squeeze onto the toasted bagel, with a colourful and delicately dressed and crisp side salad. Their hot drinks were beautifully served on a small wooden tray. The Americano came with a small glass of water, continental style; the peppermint tea was steeped leaf tea in an infuser and was so vibrant. The decor was calm and inviting and the ambience so relaxing. The staff? They just oozed energy and warmth to their customers, and nothing was too much trouble. The proprietor was so attentive and you can see why this place gets five star ratings, all day long. If you never come here, you are missing soemthing special.”

“Absolutely amazing. From the minute we walked in we felt welcomed. We ordered a cappuccino and a latte as well as food, the coffee was the vest ive tasted in a very long time and my missus thought so too. So we were waiting for something to actually bring our experience down as it usually does., the food arrived and was presented beautifully, it tasted wonderful from the salad to the fries and the lasagne it was perfect and tasted wonderful. I couldn't find a thing wrong with it. As I chef I can usually find something but with this I couldn't. Which leads me to our waitress, she was new, very polite and lovely overall, and a total credit to the establishment. All in all I would highly recommend without a doubt. This place is the vest kept secret in the area. Im just glad I live close but I would drive miles just to ho here. Thank you”

“Lovely little cafe, great ambience, clean, friendly and comfortable. I was visiting Doncaster recently and had coffee here three times. Ordered an espresso which was perfectly poured each time (the test of a good barista). The Schnitzel was great too. Lovely owners.”
