  “We had a wonderful experience at Old Delhi Restaurant. My daughter and I visited recently. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors.After our meal, my daughter enjoyed a Sweet (Gulab Jamun,) which were also excellent What made our visit truly special was the exceptional hospitality of Ankita, who was at the reception. As we were leaving, she surprised my daughter with a complimentary box of assorted sweets. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture that genuinely touched our hearts. Nowadays, it's rare to meet people who go the extra mile to make customers feel so welcome. Ankita's kindness and warm smile made our experience unforgettable. Thank you, Old Delhi Restaurant, for the amazing food and outstanding customer service. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!”

  “Visited Old Delhi a couple of days ago and had a wonderful experience. We tried Chole Bhature, Samosa Chaat, Spring Roll and Plain Samosa and everything was absolutely delicious with authentic Punjabi flavours. As a pure vegetarian, I asked whether their sweets contained eggs, and the staff kindly explained that they don’t use eggs in any of their sweets🤩They even treated us to complimentary Gulab Jamun, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Great food, warm hospitality, and excellent service. Highly recommended!”

  “We travel from Burton every time to eat here, and we have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh. Every dish we’ve tried has been excellent, and the quality is consistently high. The sweets are amazing as well, just like the traditional sweets you get in India. Highly recommended.”

  “A friend of mine suggested me this place so yesterday i tried , the veg manchurians of this place , and they had the same indian chinese flavour, which i missed the most after coming to uk . And i make sure u guys will also love it , and should give it a try . From my pov it is one of the best manchurians i have ever tried in derby and i also brought a cheese naan which was also quite interesting it had a very nice flavour and i loved the cheese pull 😂 . Along with the food the staff of this place is very friendly and easy to communicate. A must visit place”

  “i ordered 1 samosa chaat , 1 allu tiki chaat , 2 bread pakora and some sweets as well. the chaat samosa and allu tikki was ok ok not that much testier like the hyped and the bread pkoda was yummy and sweet are also delicious , overalls it’s good for one try if you like indian street food you can try here as a option.”

  “I rang to place an order and it was ready on my arrival. The lady serving was warm and friendly. Our spring rolls and samosas were fresh and delicious, and well filled. The filling was not mush and herbs and spices were seen, even in the samosa wrapper. The lamb saag was not oily, rich with lamb and very delicious. In addition, we could pay by card (unlike previous business on this site). Can't wait to try more from here. Thank you!”

  “Amazing chats and sweets. Just love the authentic taste. Must try their chat section. There are some table chairs if you want to savour on food there itself. People usually come for takeaways so it’s easy to grab a seat to eat. Friendly staff. There’s a little wait time for hot but believe me it’s worth it for the hot and tasty food.”

  “Spotted a poster for this new Indian eat out place, Old Delhi yesterday and decided to check it out today, and I’m so glad I did! This place is an absolute gem and honestly made my weekend :) I specifically went there to try their food and had the chole bhature hot at the shop since it was a quiet afternoon. Let me just say, it was hands down one of the best bhature I’ve had lately. Perfectly hot, fluffy, and fresh, with chole that packed real Punjabi flavour just like back in Delhi. The portion size was generous too, which is rare to find around here in the UK. What I could observe was that this place is run by a lovely young couple who were very polite and welcoming, and it’s clear they care about what they are serving. The food has that authentic, home-style taste that’s hard to come by, it genuinely reminded me of eating out in Delhi. I also picked up some items to go, and I am really impressed by the immaculate packaging. While I haven’t tried them yet, I noticed the paranthas are huge (literally the size of a full plate!) and the bread pakora looks exactly like what you would get at a proper Delhi street stall, I have no doubt they’ll be just as delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving real Indian street food done right. Can’t wait to go back!”
