  “WHY did i wait over 2 years to visit? This was one of the best overall dining.experiences I have ever had. My wife and I enjoyed every course as well as the delicious wine, combine this with the intimacy of the place and how welcoming Tony and Becky were makes for a fantastic experience. Tony even approved of my dirty sandwich i made using the focacia and various tasty elements from a couple of the plates we had, the chicken skin butter is so good. Don't wait like I did, couldn't recommend more 😋”

  “I absolutely cannot fault what Tony and Becky have done here. The confidence that this team has in their skill and knowledge means they can bring flavour, texture, novelty and joy to whichever dish they imagine and make it as accessible as possible. This makes the experience of dining here so welcoming and intimate. My gluten intolerant wife, who hadn't been able to enjoy Jamaican ginger cake for twenty years was brought to happy tears at the first taste of her pudding and was immediately offered a hug in response. That's how welcoming and understanding the team here are. The menu and portioning is cunningly conceived as to make it possible, and advisable, to order at least 80% of the menu. It is also advisable to take every bit of advice about the wine pairings for your dishes from Becky. In fact the confidence from the kitchen can be reflected by the diner, I'd happily take a seat here and give them free reign to keep bringing me whatever plates they choose until I begged them to stop. Tony and Becky's generosity and bonhomie are in equal measure to their skill and knowledge and I hope to be returning to this amazing restaurant for many years to come. And if there are no seats I'd be much obliged if they could sort me out a little tub of that Karaage for the bus home, ta very much.”

  “You can really feel the soul in this place. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is super cosy and the food is just amazing — delicious and so beautifully put together. Every plate is a work of art! If you’re in Broadstairs or anywhere around Thanet, definitely put this place on your list. A genuinely lovely spot.”

  “We visited Fifteen Square Metres for the first time as a group of five and we were blown away by the taste and quality of the food as well as the efficient and friendly service. We were unsure what our experience would be like as it is not the type of restaurant that we usually visit but we are so glad that we gave it a go. We were advised to order several small plates as well as snacks to start. The gluten free focaccia was delicious and tasted better than most normal breads. We also loved the tempura olives and the tofu karaage was flavoured to perfection. We ordered several vegetarian small plates and one prawn dish which we thought were all of fine dining quality. My personal favourite was the corn fritters with nachos as there was such a beautiful combination of flavours on the plate. It was also perfect that all of the food is 100% gluten free which meant that the two members of our group with celiac disease could order and try whatever they wanted without the worry of cross contamination. We had a dessert each to top it all off. The apricots and cream were delicious and the deconstructed lemon mirangue pie went down very well with the group. The entire meal was a true master chef experience and we enjoyed the personal touch of the chef bringing out the food and presenting each dish. We would love to come back next time we are in broadstairs and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”
