Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise generous, well-priced plates, with the steak arriving with a sauce of choice, mushrooms, tomatoes, an onion ring and wedges drawing particular mention. Close behind are the lasagna, described as cheesy with lots of layers, the salmon la Vita and chicken skewers, called tasty and plentiful, and a Sunday dinner singled out for its mash, roast potatoes and sticky toffee pudding. Breakfast earns praise for delicious bacon and big portions, and several describe friendly, welcoming staff and lovely decor. The complaints are specific. One reviewer found the calamari not fresh, another thought the breakfast sausage and black pudding overcooked and dry with only one mushroom, and a third describes a watery prawn cocktail, a late seating on a very busy night with few staff, and a steak that arrived cremated. That diner's partner had finished eating before a replacement came, so they cancelled it and were not charged.

“Really nice well priced Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff. Food was superb, very well presented and very tasty. I had steak which was very well priced and very tasty. Included sauce of choice as well as mushrooms, tomatoes, onion ring, side salad and very tasty wedges. House wine very well priced. Opening times are impressively long and open on a Tuesday.”
