About Rosebud café and Nepalese restaurant

Rosebud café and Nepalese restaurant serves Nepalese food at 265 Walsgrave Rd in Coventry, with a menu that mixes in British breakfasts and Iranian dishes. The Nepalese side covers curries and grilled dishes, and the Koobideh chicken kebab comes from the Iranian part of the menu. Breakfasts include fried bread, so the kitchen handles morning plates alongside the curries. The café format pairs a British-style start to the day with Nepalese cooking, which gives the menu a wider range than a single cuisine would.

“Rosebud Cafe is a fantastic spot for authentic Nepalese cuisine. The flavours are rich, vibrant, and truly capture the essence of traditional dishes, it’s clear the food is prepared with care and genuine expertise. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both great food and outstanding hospitality.”

“The Rosebud in Ball Hill is an absolute treasure. I've been a regular for years, and it never disappoints. The staff are so friendly and welcoming – they pay attention to detail and even remember your name, which makes you feel like a valued guest . The atmosphere is lovely and cozy, and the recent redecoration has made it even more inviting, with a nice Mediterranean feel in the indoor seating area . The food is the real star. The menu is a brilliant and unique blend of Nepalese, British, and even some authentic Iranian dishes . We've had everything from the most fantastic breakfasts with the best fried bread I've ever had (lightly fried, not oily, just perfect crispness) to incredible Nepalese curries and grilled dishes like the Koobideh chicken kebab . Everything is cooked to perfection, well-spiced, and the portions are so generous . The chips are also the best I've ever tasted! Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee (served in beautiful bespoke crockery), a hearty breakfast, or a delicious dinner, this place is a must-visit. The service is quick, the place is spotlessly clean, and the prices are very reasonable . I can't recommend it highly enough!”
