  “Pains me to write this review but I hope this helps improve their food quality. The jerk chicken was old and dry, meaning they gave me chicken that was cooked days ago. The oxtail only had small meat pieces and was lackluster. Very disappointing”

  “We stumbled across Finger Licking and Jerk Centre after moving from London to Coventry, and wow — the food is sensational. Proper authentic Caribbean flavours that taste like real home‑cooked comfort food. We had jerk chicken, curry goat, rice ’n’ peas, mac and cheese, plus the homemade pineapple & ginger juice — everything was incredible. Warm, friendly service too. 10/10. A blessing. No pictures because the aroma alone had me ready to eat before I even got home.”

  “Finger Licking brings real Jamaican flavours done right. The food was full of flavour, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly — proper Caribbean comfort food. The jerk had a great kick without overpowering the taste, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, like home-style cooking. If you’re looking for bold seasoning, good spice, and satisfying portions, Finger Licking is definitely the place. Highly recommend.”

  “Great little Caribbean takeaway! There was music playing, which created a lovely atmosphere, and the overall ambience was warm and inviting. The drink selection was good, and the portion sizes were generous – you certainly get your money’s worth. The ackee and saltfish was full of flavour, and the rice and peas were shelly and well-seasoned – definitely a highlight. The dumplings were a bit disappointing: too large, quite doughy, and could have done with a bit more salt. The escovitch fish was nice but could have used a touch more seasoning to really bring it to life. All in all, tasty food and friendly service. I’d happily return – just a few small tweaks needed for it to be top notch ☺️”

  “Foods excellent and ordered many times before but today decided to charge £8.40 for a tupperware full of rice and peas with ONE sole chicken leg 😂🙈 is a bit too steep for me sorry. Best of luck sir 👍🏾”
