Customer Review Summary
Diners most often return for the sizzler platters and mixed grill, which one reviewer found so good they ordered a second and then a third to take away. Close behind are the goat curry, praised for its depth of flavour, and the butter chicken, saag paneer, soya chicken curry and onion bhaji. Fish tikka stayed moist, naans arrive fresh and hot, and a few single out the chocolate brownie and a warm gulab jamun that is not overly sweet. Several call the food consistent and quick, and one praises the whisky selection at the bar. Complaints carry real weight, though. Two reviewers say the food had heavy colouring, citing the hakka noodles and the chilli potato starter, and one reports colour staining their hands after washing. Another found the chicken Madras tasted off and seemed pre-cooked. Service splits: one reviewer had to practically beg for drinks and to order, another calls the staff rude, while a third praised the woman serving. One notes a delaminating table, and a paneer clay pot had an odd flavour as if some ingredients were undercooked.

“Ok so it needs some work on the furnishings, delaminating table not a good sign. Food wise the dishes were pretty good very tasty and enjoyable. Service needs slight improvement on cleaning tables but I don't think there were two waitresses on so the one did the best she could. Atmosphere was pretty good. The TV had sport news on it but it was not overwhelming the environment and the sound was not on. All in all not bad may choose to come back or recommend to others.”

“The food quality was extremely poor and far below expectations. Every dish lacked proper flavor and seemed to rely solely on excessive spice rather than authentic seasoning or freshness. The chicken Madras tasted off and genuinely raised concerns about quality and freshness. It was obvious the food had been pre-cooked and left sitting rather than prepared fresh to order, which completely affected the taste and overall experience. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had, and I certainly will not be returning.”

“Quite a decent desi pub, with some great dishes. We had saag paneer(excellent), paneer clay pot(ok, but had odd flavour profile i can't really explain, almost like some of the ingredients weren't cooked), soya chicken curry (great), onion bhaji (delicious) and some naans- we've eaten here a few times now and the food is verry consistent, with super fast prep which means you won't be waiting long 👌🏽 Well worth a visit if your in Coventry.”

“Those planning to visit this place , please please do take the negative comments more seriously as they are true and genuine. Such a terrible experience with worst food and even worse staff is a complete waste of your time, energy, appetite and money. Their food is pleasing to eyes as they add all colors and no flavours. I wonder if they even know what they are serving. Attaching pics of what they served in the name of hakka noodles. Also, the color effect on hands washed twice with soap and thoroughly scrubbed. Eating just the starters killed our appetite and their staff is just way too arrogant, rude and unprofessional. No reason why one should ever have such disheartening experience. Please avoid this awful place.”
