“Oh man. These were some EXCELLENT chips. Fresh and straight out of the oil, they were melt in the mouth and almost buttery in flavour (but no dairy was involved – don't worry). Hey. Sorry about the 4 stars for atmosphere – a walk-in chippy isn't the most vibing place, especially at 8pm on a Wednesday, but it looked like the staff were happy so an extra point there. It's not like I was expecting a comedian, some jugglers or a dancer on the counter, you know? It's a good chippy with friendly staff, and you can't say fairer than that.”

“Having visited Marios fish bar for 6 years i can fully recommend this take away . The food is excellent and served by very polite and helpful staff.its the best in stoke on trent and cheshire. 5star. 10 out of 10 for quality and service ..”

“Been here so many times in the past, but last two the food has been poor. We had Halloumi pittas which were the smallest portion I've ever had from there and minimal sauce, the halloumi was soggy and not very nice. My daughter had halloumi burger with salad, mayo&sweet chilli, and the burger she couldn't even pick up it was soggy and drenched in sauce and inedible again halloumi soggy. Really disappointed as used to be nice from here. Food ended up in bin unfortunately. Won't be having it again from there.”

“Been before and it's usually been alright, though nothing special. Not sure if the rave reviews for it have been to a chippy before. Last time I got served cold chips at lunch time though by miserable staff that looked like they couldn't be arsed. If you ask for chips and cheese be aware that the cheese is the absolute cheapest catering stuff that tastes more like margarine than cheese. Given it 2 stars because it's usually been alright if nothing special. Expensive for what it is though.”
