  “My new go-to place when I finish my long walk to Congleton from Stoke, as it is a proper treat at the end! Had the vegan fry up today but minus spinach and mushrooms, and it was delicious. In addition the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. Came to £21 and so many pence. Only feedback I would give is 1 sausage felt a bit mean! I think having 2 would have made the price more justifiable. However, it was delicious, hot and I’d order it again. I came on a Saturday and arrived about 11:00, all the indoor two-person tables had gone so I chose to sit outside as it was sunny, but something to consider if you are going and want to sit indoors! The outdoor seating area was in the shade the hour I was there. Staff are very friendly and they accept cash. Will be coming back but wanted to write a review for fellow vegans. They also sell cake at the counter and always have a vegan option 😊”

  “Excellent food.No doubt about that! Not many places live up to their own hype these days but the food we had was delicious. Only slight let down was a very long waiting time between ordering at the counter and food arriving at the table. It seemed the wait time may have also been affected by the apparent lack of communication between staff. It was not clear who was a server at the till and who was a runner of food (i think everyone was either doing a bit odf both or nothing at all) which also led to me ordering and paying for a nuttella croissant cake that I was stood in front of and could clearly see multiple portions at the til, to being told 10 minutes later after returning to my table that that particular cake had now sold out?? The server was very apologetic about this and offered an alternative, but I can't help feeling this probably happened because of such a long wait between ordering and food coming to the table? Maybe other staff members sold what was left to other customers whilst I was waiting at my table after paying? Maybe there isn't a clear system on the til/ticket system to keep track of what items are sold to each table, at what time the order goes through, or to stop selling an item once it has sold out? This is only constructive criticism and not a complaint, but I feel this lovely cafe would be an 11/10 if the service system was revised? Maybe change to table service of 2 or 3 members and have an appointed member of staff at the till/door throughout service to oversee that the orders are properly processed.”
