Customer Review Summary
Food draws the most praise at this Congleton restaurant. Reviewers call it "lovely" and "scrumptious", and one singles out the Seabass and King Prawn Curry as probably the best curry they have had. Three-course meals arrive hot and well cooked, and one diner's requested amendments to a dish were accommodated. Close behind is the service, described as friendly, welcoming and attentive. One reviewer recommends the bottomless brunch, and a regular names the cocktails among their favourites. The decor is called nicely done and the rooms airy, with comfortable outdoor seating. Several walk-in diners without a booking say they were found a table promptly. Reviewers also describe staff going out of their way. One party was moved outside for dessert, with the bill transferred, after a noisy neighbouring table made conversation hard for hard-of-hearing relatives. An anniversary couple were brought a card and two glasses of prosecco on the house.

“We often eat at the Orange Tree Congleton as it offers everything for a fabulous night out. Great food, service, ambience and our favourite cocktails to boot.”

“We went for my wife’s 50th and the service / food was fantastic on Wednesday 22nd July. When another party sat next to us who were a little noisy ( some in our party are slightly deaf ) it made our conversations harder so the staff were amazing in relocating us outside for our desserts ( transferring our bill ) and making sure the older members of our party ( slightly deaf ) were happy and comfortable. Special mention to Fran and Dean who were a real credit to this establishment. Will definitely return.”

“Me and the wife called in with no reservation, it was a last minute decision as we hadn't planned anything for our wedding anniversary the week before as we were busy with other things , upon arrival we said we had no reservation but they found us a table and saw to us promptly, we got talking to the gentleman at front of house and unexpectedly he brought us a card and two glasses of prosecco on the house which I thought was really nice, the food was spot on and the overall experience was excellent, we will return, Thankyou to all the staff at the orange tree 👍🏻”
