  “Food was decent. The reason i have only given service 1 star is that, when we came in we were sat at a table and our glasses hand dust,fingerprints and random smudges on them . Also. We ordered only 2 pizzas and a side and the service too over 45 minuited for the food to be put on our table!”

  “Worst experience ever, so I highly recommend to avoid this place. Sorry but service was awful, food was doesn’t matter what you asked for cold. I asked to have coke and never arrived. Asked the manager how long will take for pizza or pasta and said would be 10 min for pizza 10-15min for pasta so asked for pizza. Which since taking so long asked to have it for take away, at this point nobody came to the table to say nothing so at the end a waitress came to ask me if I was still waiting for the pizza so she gave it to me really cold. Really mad I would not spend almost 15£ for such an awful pizza. Sorry but this place needs to retrain personal asap, don’t even want to eat the pizza really. I saw many customers looking around to try to ask something to waitress so that is letting you know they are not paying attention to tables.”

  “The staff here are incredibly rude. They don't seem to have any respect for customers or anyone else. We witnessed a waitress shouting at a delivery driver, and the poor guy just left without saying anything. She kept shouting at him in front of us and the other customers without any hesitation. We were genuinely shocked and didn't know what to say at the time. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. I think this waitress needs to go back to primary school and learn how to treat people with kindness and respect. The staff here clearly need some basic customer service training.”

  “After experiencing a disaster of an evening in March, we were given a complimentary award. We chose today for my birthday celebrations to try again. It couldn't have been any different this time. Superb service from Emma - our waitress. Also James the manager. Helpful and fun. Thank you for restoring our faith in the Chichester branch.”

  “A really kind warm welcome as soon as you enter the door from Jamie. Dough balls and pizza come out warm and was super delicious! Artiom the chef is lovely. And our waiter Ty was extremely kind. Would definitely recommend, the food is delicious! And service is brilliant!”

  “Very disappointing experience at Pizza Express from start to finish. We were left waiting to be seated for quite a while despite multiple staff members clearly seeing us and making eye contact. Once seated, the atmosphere among staff felt awkward and unprofessional, with colleagues shouting across tables rather than communicating properly. Unfortunately, our food order was incorrect as our pizza arrived with meat on it despite us specifically requesting it without. The hygiene and professionalism behind the service area were also concerning. From our table we could clearly see staff preparing drinks and desserts amongst mess, wrappers, crumbs, empty cans and discarded drinks. Cutlery was being thrown across the work surface, and we also witnessed table water being filled from a tap with a large sign stating it was for hand washing only. Our waiter appeared visibly frustrated throughout service, even hitting himself in the face with the menu and huffing. When it came time to pay, he stood watching us closely while we got cash out for the bill, all while sucking his thumb, which was extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic to witness. To top things off, another waiter put his foot up on the chair beside our table to tie his shoelaces, with his backside directly facing us while we were eating. Overall, the experience felt chaotic, unhygienic, and very poorly managed. Definitely not the standard I would expect from Pizza Express”

  “I recieved tiny burnt dough balls, biscoff cheesecake without the biscoff biscuits. The food was cold and the pizza was really oily. I ordered off deliveroo. You cannot advertise items and send something different to customers, that's a breach of the consumers rights act. Food was massively overpriced too! £9.25 for cheesecake!”

  “Expensive dough!!....toppings are mililmeter thin....could do better at home.....Don't go. This was the same on all 3 of our pizzas. When complained told.....toppings are measured out in cups. NOT GOOD!!”
