Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the salt and pepper squid and the sea bass, with the hawker pork skewers, melting beef, Massaman and morning glory stir fry also named as highlights. Staff draw repeated praise as warm, friendly and attentive, and two reviewers with gluten intolerance in their party describe careful handling and a QR code with allergen details. One reviewer received complimentary Prosecco after mentioning a birthday when booking. Several mention the interior's warm lighting and leafy look. Complaints are specific. One reviewer who lived in Thailand found the salt and pepper squid served as plain tempura squid and the Samui Seafood sauce overly sweet and sour, and said the table was too small for two table mats. Another reports thick dust and cobwebs on the light fittings and fake flowers, raised with the manager three months earlier, with the air conditioning blowing dust toward the tables. A third was shocked to find the rose wine came to £16 a glass on the bill, having not looked at the wine list.

“We had a fantastic dinner! The staff were lovely, especially our waitress Anabell and the manager. They were very careful around my sister's gluten intolerance - there were also some great gluten free options on the menu. All the food was absolutely delicious!”

“I chose Giggling Squid for a surprise Birthday dinner for my partner, we were not disappointed, the whole experience from arrival, level of service and quality of food was very good indeed. I made an additional comment when booking that it was a Birthday event and upon arriving we were offered complimentary Prosecco which was a really nice gesture. The quality of food was superb. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend highly.”

“Lovely and professional staffs, especially Eugenia who took care of us while we were visiting there. Massaman and Morning glory stirred fry are authentic. However, my friend love Chicken Krua Kling flavour. This would be my new fav. spot.”
