“Really disappointed to be honest. The man behind the bar was incredibly rude, when I walked in looked at me in utter disgust and then refused to serve me and my partner. Wouldn’t give us a reason was more interested in having a chin wag with the person next to him. So unprofessional, no wonder why they’re looking for new staff. Avoid at all costs, plenty of other welcoming lovely bars in Chichester - the hole in the wall pub are always friendly and chatty.”

“We took my daughter and grandkids there for my daughter’s birthday to watch the football at 5.30pm. They were happy to sell us £50.00 worth of drinks and an hour on the shuttle board but as soon as we went to our seats the manager came across and asked us to leave because in his words when the football starts it is likely to get violent and glasses may be thrown and the kids were unsafe. He said we were welcome to stay without the kids. After a debate he gave us 10mins to finish our drinks before we left but did not refund the monies for the hour booked on the shuttle board. He instructed the bar staff not to serve us which was embarrassing. Our grandkids are extremely well behaved and not at all noisy. My daughter went to speak to him to get his name but he made a point of ignoring her. She asked one of the staff for his name but she said she was not allowed to give it to us. We left extremely disappointed with his attitude. This is supposed to be a child friendly pub. They even advertise baby changing facilities. I would not recommend it.”

“Dom was very attentive and gave great options on the food. Jason is clearly a good chef too and knocks up a lovely sexy jacket”
