  “Having recently moved to the Chichester area I was on the look out for a nice bar to watch the world cup at. I conversed with some of the locals for some advice of which bar that they thought would have the best atmosphere as I’m not really a fan of rowdy pubs as I struggle with anxiety and I was luckily recommended to give ROOM12 a go. I have to say I was very pleased with the advice I was given as they have multiple tv’s and not having to watch the games from behind the back of someone’s head was really refreshing. I found it to be a really chilled experience and i also had the pleasure of meeting some really nice locals here. The bar staff were really friendly and welcoming and having visited a lot of different bars around the country due to travelling for my job I sometimes find that isn’t always the case. I really felt the bar staff deserved some recognition for the great customer service I was provided with so I decided to speak to the manager a lovely lady named Georgina who I found to be just as friendly and i just came to the conclusion that this place is a really well run bar and I feel that this will be my go to local from now on without a doubt. 10/10 Thanks 🍻”

  “I visited Room 12 on Friday night with a few members of my family, it wasn’t busy at all, the staff were lovely and put some more modern music on for us when we asked, as we were there wanting to have a dance. My only niggle was that when I ordered a second round of shots, I asked for 4, I was given 5 even though i said no, I asked for 4 - the lad told me that I had asked for 5, and I paid for 5 so here you are. I hadn’t noticed I paid for 5 as I paid without checking, not a big deal but it was the way the lad said it that got my back up a little - if he had said “oh sorry about that, I misheard” or anything to acknowledge the mistake then I wouldn’t even be mentioning it here. It was paid for anyway so we drank the other shot - all in all, not a bad night.”

  “Went in Saturday night at 11.45pm. Felt like a year 5 disco. Dj playing abba, bon jovi, girls just wanna have fun, etc. Really terrible. Not what you expect on a Saturday night in a uni city. Polish men on their own just running about aimlessly trying to befriend everyone, right odd behaviour. Manager should never let that dj back in. Really crap. Safe to say i will be telling others how bad the experience was. Battle of the bands is a good night so im just shocked how this has happened.”

  “A lovely place with an excellent choice of breakfast items. After climbing 24 very solid and wide steps to the floor with the rooms, one find a bright, wide hallway. The room was bigger than I thought, very clean and tidy, and the bed was heavenly. I give it four stars as there is no one on site at night. However, I was told of the emergency number which would have a 24 hour response.”
