“We visited Pizza Express Chertsey for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The food was great and the service was even better! We were served by Geordie who was absolutely top notch. He went over and beyond to make our daughter feel special and gave her the full VIP treatment, including a beautiful birthday plate designed by himself, you could tell a lot of effort went into it. A wonderful first experience. Thank you Geordie, we’ll definitely be back!”

“Nice pizza place. We didn’t have to book the table, it was quite empty when we came on Sunday afternoon but it got busy at the end. Good choice of pizza. I like the fact that they have kids menu for reasonable price and they give kids colouring sheets so it keeps them busy. Last Sunday they had offer if you buy one pizza, you can get another one for £1 which is very good deal!”

“We had such a fantastic evening and wanted to share how impressed we were with the team. It was genuinely the best experience we’ve ever had at Pizza Express. The team were consistently attentive, warm, and professional throughout. The food itself was perfect, everything was spot on. Overall, it was a wonderful evening.”

“We had such a lovely experience at Pizza Express, made even better by Geordie’s outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, friendly, attentive, and great at joking around with the table, which created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere throughout our meal. What made our visit especially memorable was when we mentioned that my nan was celebrating moving house. Geordie went above and beyond by creating a special dessert plate for her, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. It really made the occasion feel extra special and brought a big smile to her face. His excellent customer service, attention to detail, and genuine care made our whole meal unforgettable. Geordie is a real credit to Pizza Express, and we’ll definitely be back because of the wonderful experience he gave us. Thank you again!”

“My Husband and I visited today to chaperone my daughter and her boyfriend (as they're only 11) for their valentines day meal. It was one of the best visits we've ever had at a Pizza Express! Not only was the food exceptional the service really made the whole visit. Our server Daria was absolutely amazing! She was so happy, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and app and she was also great with the children, she deserves a pay rise!!!”

“Such a shame to leave a negative review as the in restaurant experience has been excellent across 3 visits but I would avoid ordering takeaway for delivery at all costs. For the second time in a month we were left waiting while multiple delivery riders/drivers kept cancelling. Looks like they shoved the whole boxes in the oven to keep them warm while they waited for delivery resulting in pizza burnt to a crisp and not edible as the crust was so chewy and hard (see photos). Do better Pizza Express I won’t be ordering takeaway again after being ‘burnt’ twice.”

“Really relaxed and enjoyable dining experience at this branch. Was inviting, well lit and had a great atmosphere. Teen accomplice described it as "bougie". Both had dough balls to start: American hot and Al Forno. Both were delicious, especially the Al Forno if you like cheese. Mains were a Grand chicken Caesar salad and a La Reine pizza. Both were served in a timely manner after the starter plates were cleared away. Both were enjoyable and the portion size was good with no excessive leftovers. Dessert was a Sicilian roulade which was good. Service was excellent, would love to name the young lady who served us but sadly no name badge. Well done, Chertsey branch.”

“When you have pizza express you know what you’re getting. I went for an American in the Romana style (larger and flatter). It was very tasty, pepperoni was cooked well and none of it was burnt. Service was polite and efficient albeit there were only two customers in for lunch. Which brings me on to my last issue which is the pricing. It’s too expensive. My pizza was £15 (my colleague paid as it was my birthday) but I feel like if they did a lunch time deal for £6 they would sell a load more. Would go again if in Chertsey due to limited choice but in London you can get pizza as good elsewhere for much cheaper.”

“Went here for the first time ever and was really impressed with the COVID measures in place such as seats being spaced out with social distancing measures in place. Was greeted by the manager who was very friendly and we were seated at our table. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful which made it a really lovely experience as waiting staff can make or break a dining experience. Food was delicious as always and tasted even better because of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme where it was 50% off. Pizza Express never fails to deliver, the standard is always great and you know exactly what you're getting. This branch is quite quiet which was nice for an evening out so would recommend. Would highly recommend this branch because of friendly staff and great tasting food!”
