“Quite the experience, I walked into an atmosphere similar to what I can only describe as standing in the middle of a Wall Street trading floor - staff shouting orders at eachother, not just within the kitchen but actually shouting through the waiting customers, trying to grab the attention of someone outside. "They only except cash" that was made clear by not the person serving me, but an older chap who literally gave me the message with a stare as if to say the notion of using a bankcard was like trying pay with monopoly money. The pizza was ready in good time, so definitely no complaints there. I will however mention that the pizza was... how to put this, merely expensive cheese on toast - there was such a small amount of passata and with mildest tasting cheese I essentially was only experiencing the texture of eating a pizza. Also let's talk about the lab sample of dip they give you. The one thing that could deliver me some flavour thus saving my Friday night and they ration it down to a mere sneeze of garlic sauce. “The staff was friendly and welcoming. Staff name, Ariyan severed us with great hospitality. The food was fresh and delicious. 100% recommended.”

“Hi, My partner and I ordered from you last night and within a few hours we were both violently unwell, throwing up throughout the night. We’ve both had to take two unpaid days off work because of this. This is now the third time we’ve experienced food poisoning after ordering from you, which is completely unacceptable. We will be reporting this to the Food Standards Agency for an investigation into your hygiene and food standards. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible.”

“The place was disgusting inside , rubbish all over the floor . When we walked in the 4 staff were all just sat on the their phones then all hopped up immediately The bloke I spoke to at the desk with the beard and the only one in uniform was rude and quiet not looking at me when I was talking Then I went to pay with my card and he said they don’t accept cards , so I went to the cash point nearby and that was empty so no fault of my own I couldn’t pay them But for some reason the bloke in the back had already started cooking my food order as he must’ve overheard what I wanted , so then when I came back and said the cash point wasn’t working you could tell the bloke at the desk was annoyed so then he said give me your phone number and we will send you a text he did this 3 times and it didn’t come through on my phone - again maybe a fault with their system or my phone who knows Then he started saying to me “you have to pay he’s starting cooking your food “ why did you start cooking food without taking payment off me 😂the food waste is entirely their own fault for not accepting cards (they did take cash but not my fault the machine was empty) so I was then very frustrated when the bloke at the counter was having a go at me for not being able to pay so I just laughed told them to stop being stupid and get a card machine and it’s their own fault that they started cooking my food without an actual order being placed But so dodgy inside , defo wouldn’t recommend, a really poorly ran operation especially when the 3/4 other takeaways on the estate are miles better , but the attitude and rudeness from the staff is an absolute disgrace and state of the kitchen and litter all on the floor in the lobby area while all the staff were all on their phones is a joke too , genuinely just go Co Op and buy some chicken and cook it yourself 😂”

Customer Review Summary

Grilled peri chicken and chicken burgers draw the most praise. One reviewer calls the chicken cooked perfectly on the grill, and another enjoyed a double chicken wrap meal with crispy chips. A diner also names the Cheltenham badboy pizza as the best locally. Another found their pizza little more than expensive cheese on toast, with scant passata and a tiny pot of garlic sauce. Service divides the reviews. Some describe friendly, polite staff, while others report a staff member who would not smile, orders shouted across waiting customers, and litter on the lobby floor. Food complaints include dry, overcooked chicken in burgers, a completely burnt order, and a spicy burger served with three pots of spicy dip and no milder alternative for a diner who avoids heat. One reviewer reports both partners were violently unwell after an order. Another says cheese and grilled pineapple were missing from two double breast burgers, and that after a dispute over the order, the manager had the full meal remade anyway.
