About Coffi Lab Llandaff
Coffi Lab Llandaff is a coffee shop at 21 High St in Cardiff, where a vintage espresso machine produces flat whites finished with latte art. Dogs are welcome, and the cafe supports the Guide Dogs charity. The drinks list runs from mocha, latte and americano to hot chocolate and chai. On the food side, hot focaccia sits on the menu alongside red velvet cake, and the baked goods also include cinnamon buns, danish pastries and welsh cake. Seating spreads across more than one floor, including upstairs, with plenty of tables. The shop gets busy around school run times, and a seat usually comes up.

Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the main draw, with reviewers praising the mocha, a flat white with latte art, the latte and the chai, and one calling it specialty coffee. Close behind are the baked goods, including red velvet cake, cinnamon bun, danish pastries, a welsh cake and hot focaccia. Staff are repeatedly described as lovely, friendly and polite, and one reviewer notes service stayed quick even when the place was busy. The space is called cosy and spacious, with plenty of seating including upstairs, and a few treat it as a spot to meet friends or study. The main caveat is crowding. One reviewer arrived on a weekday morning to find it extremely busy and loud, and found their americano too bitter. Another says school run times get busy, though a seat always comes up. Several mention it is dog friendly, and two single out its support for a guide dog charity.

“This is such a good coffee shop in landaff. I have visited almost all the of Coffi labs in wales and this is definitely one of the best. When we entered the store it was not that busy then it got busier!!!!. I had a flat white and a red velvet cake which were very good and the cake had very good texture and taste!!! And the flat white had latte art like Coffi lab also do. They also have a vintage espresso machine which was good!!!! Overall this is a very good quality coffee shop and you can see that it's specialty coffee!!!!”
