  “Not cheap. Didn't eat. Choice of 2 ales both in good condition. Very large pleasant area of decking to rear. Canterbury was fairly busy but this pub was fairly quiet and a very good choice o escape the crowds for a drink. Might be worth 4 stars but had.very limited experience of place”

  “I visited with a couple of dear friends, and it was the first time we'd all met up and had proper time together. It was absolutely wonderful, and the food and atmosphere made it a really memorable experience 😻 All the food was delicious, and the pigs in blankets were fantastic 🙀 I coulda had a big bowl of just them!”

  “Great pub which has big garden, live music but if you don't want live music great music in the pub. Staff very attentive and foods great. Due to this we keep coming back. Thankyou every visit is a pleasure.”

  “Fun place to visit with a large beer garden, though very loud and no table service. Food was just ok and lacked flavor despite many ingredients thrown at each meal. Lots of beers and ciders on tap, and easy to get even when busy.”

  “Was Tuesday dinnertime so quiet in pub. Staff were friendly, bringing a bowl of water out for the dog, without asking. Dogs obviously more then welcome anywhere in pub. Food was brought out quickly and hot. Good size portion. Phone was ringing throughout taking booking so obviously a popular venue. Would use again if in area”

  “Great environment and lovely seating space. The outdoor area is super amazing and comfortable- spacious too. I had bread and olives for a start which was really tasty. The mix of olives and sweet peppers was lovely. Then had the gammon steak with potatoes, peas and two eggs. The flavors really complimented each other and it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.”

  “Best pub in Canterbury. Friendly and efficient staff. Very tasty food. Special shout out to the Manager Stuart, his Mum Sam and Connor who’s moustache is so groomed you could hang your coat on it (or anything else that takes your fancy) Thanks for a great experience.”
