  “The Manager I believe named Lydia was very helpful and very kind with our service, even gave me a free ice cream after joking with her saying can I put my ice cream in a glass, then she gave me a tub to fill up some icecream, great way to get customers to return. Very respectful.”

  “Really busy and super warm in the restaurant. No tables were available as the restaurant was absolutely packed, waited 10minutes for a table, we were handled incredibly well by Mehrab. We had a party member that wasn’t feeling very well and the manager (Mehrab) was fantastic! Tried to arrange for us to move outside where it was cooler, but unfortunately some people helped themselves to the table before we could move. Mehrab gave us a small cup each to grab a bit of ice cream to help cool us down and kept checking on us despite being so outrageously busy. Absolute credit to the site.”

  “We travelled from Welwyn Garden City to Cambridge to visit our daughter at ARU. After spending some time with her, we all decided to go for dinner at Nando’s Cambridge Retail Park, especially as there was free parking available. During our visit, we were approached by a manager named Rhys. He seemed very friendly and pleasant, and initially we had a nice interaction with him. However, what we really didn’t appreciate was when he asked us to leave some reviews in return for some desserts. This made us feel quite uncomfortable, especially as we were there with our daughter and simply wanted to enjoy a family dinner together. We would have been more than happy to leave an honest review based on our experience, but being offered desserts in exchange for reviews didn’t feel appropriate or genuine. Unfortunately, it took away from what otherwise would have been a pleasant evening with our daughter.”

  “Under new management, and it shows! You can tell the new owners genuinely care about this place. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the staff were attentive without ever being overbearing. It's great to see a restaurant get this kind of love and attention. We'll definitely be back!”

  “Food was lovely, but sadly service wasn't so great. Especially when after paying and eventually getting our food, we were questioned over whether or not we'd paid right in the middle of our meal. After speaking the manager and being given a load of excuses we won't be going back.”

  “We had a lovely experience at Nando’s. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully cooked, especially the chicken which was tender and perfectly grilled with a delicious smoky flavour. The rice was well-seasoned and complemented the meal really well, and the chips were generous in portion and enjoyable. Most importantly, the service made the experience even better. The manager was absolutely the best extremely friendly, attentive, welcoming, and professional throughout. They made us feel valued as customers and ensured everything was perfect. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and we truly appreciated the excellent hospitality. Much much better service given as compared to Nando’s at Cambridge Leisure. Thank you to the whole team!”

  “We did not expect to love the chicken nearly as much as we did. Having never been to Nando's before, we didn't expect much beyond the standard fast-food chicken. The unassuming facade, in the middle of a big shopping centre's parking lot, also didn't do much to dispel that image. However, once we stepped inside (on the urgings of a food-expert acquaintance), we realised our preconceptions were misconceptions. The quality, freshness and thought that went into Nando's menu cannot be compared to any "fast food experience" we've had; juicy, tender chicken with an impressive variety of complementary sauces and absolute control over the degree of spiciness (but beware that Medium already packs quite a punch), but also an excellent assortment of sides and a surprisingly original and high-quality drink menu (the South African apple cider is warmly recommended). Besides the food, the service was excellent, and we had a delightful and entirely positive chat with the manager about the virtue of sauces, which we had to praise. Not to mention the scrumptious pastelas. We will be back!”

  “I recently visited Nando’s Cambridge - Retail Park and had an outstanding experience. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. What truly made the visit special, however, was the exceptional service provided by a staff member named Irtaza. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and respectful throughout our visit, making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. His professionalism and customer care were truly impressive. The overall management and atmosphere of the restaurant were also excellent. I will definitely be returning, and a big part of that is thanks to the wonderful service we received from Irtaza. Highly recommended!”

  “Nando's It's a famous chain restaurant. Grilled chicken specialist. It's impressive that Nando's got different sides available. And inform the customers about their calories on the menu. Healthy or hearty it's up to your choice. And it's grilled chicken, also relatively healthy than fried chicken. It's also one of the reasons why I seldom go to pubs these days, pubs mostly provide fries as default side for the meals. Customers ordered food with QR code. Food arrived quickly. Unlike some of the chicken specialists, Nando's chicken has basic seasoning already. You no need to put extra sauce or seasoning on it. There's a self served counter for customers to get cutlery, sauce and drinks. It's the reason why there's no service charge. The environment was clean. Staff would come to clean the tables for the next customers. Roomy and clean toilets. I think Nando's is a relatively healthy restaurant with reasonable prices!”

  “I don't understand why staff is not informing their customers at the door about ordering rules, it's always so confusing. You must to pay through the app or at the bar first to get your order but you need to figure it out after sitting too long and waiting for the never coming waitress. It would be easier for all if they tell you that when they welcome you, it's so annoying. Chicken burgers were great but the desserts are not very tasty, especially some thing they call the ice cream. Texture is great but taste is artificial, it's even difficult to describe. The place could be cleaner, I know they always busy but their menus were sticky, and some food was kicked around the floor 🫤 The place is costly too. On a dinner for two you will spend around £50. A bit expensive for not a great experience.”
