Customer Review Summary
Pizza is what reviewers return to most, with the pork belly and kimchi pizza named as the highlight and others praising the crisp crust, generous toppings and the gluten free and dairy free options. The Monday 2-for-1 pizza deal comes up more than once, and close behind are a Sunday roast with plenty of gravy and beautiful roasties, plus the grazing boards one visitor would travel a long way for. A local pint of Supernova and a good Sauvignon also get a mention. Staff earn steady praise as friendly and accommodating: one server phoned ahead about seating for a disability, notes on food orders were followed without fuss, and a bar manager served a queue quickly while working alone. The main complaint is the music. One reviewer found the loud, clubby music a new change that puts them off returning, while others call the music choice good. Reviewers also describe the pub as very small and packed on busy nights, and one notes that a chef ran food out when servers were caught up.

“Arrived when the doors opened at noon and at the back of the queue for the bar, however, the bar manager was amazingly efficient, friendly and we had our drinks in no time, this was despite him being by himself! We delayed ordering our food as there were several large groups ahead of us, again when we did order the food was with us quickly and was very tasty.”

“Good beer, good pizza, excellent service staff. A nice pub except for the loud "clubby" music. We haven't been here in a few years. The loud music seems new and unfortunately deters us from coming back to this lovely pub.”

“Having recently found out I have to eat gluten free and dairy free, while also being vegetarian, has made eating out while travelling hard. The Salisburys Arms gave me so much choice that I was stumped for what to choose. The pizza (gf/df options) is fantastic, the staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. I'll definitely be back.”

“An absolute hidden gem in Cambridge! I recently visited the Salisbury Arms for dinner and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The pub itself has a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere—cozy, vibrant, and with staff who are genuinely attentive and friendly. The real star of the show, however, was the food. We ordered pizzas and they were very good—genuinely some of the best pub pizzas in Cambridge. The crust had the ideal crispness, the sauce was rich and packed with flavor, and the toppings were fresh and generous. To top it all off, I went on a Monday and took advantage of their 2-for-1 pizza deal. Getting food of this high quality at such an incredible value made the night even better. Whether you are looking for a casual weeknight dinner, a catch-up with friends, or just amazing pizza without breaking the bank, the Salisbury Arms is the place to go. I will definitely be back soon!”

“I have been to the Salisbury Arms a few times and it never disappoints. We had a Team dinner on Monday night and everyone really enjoyed themselves - superb pizza's and on a 2 for 1 deal - what's not to love!! The pub was packed and the atmosphere was great as was the service. Charlie has been an absolute star as we had to change the date and nothing was too much bother - he even came to find me on the night to say hello - wonderful customer service! I would thoroughly recommend an evening out or even popping along at lunchtime.”

“The Salisbury Arms is a neighbourhood hangout serving up freshly made artisan pizzas, bubbling pots of comfort food and seriously tasty beers. Our gorgeous wood-fired oven cooks all our pizzas and pots from fresh at a scorching 290 degrees. We cater for everyone so we've also got gluten-free and vegan options available too. Oh, and we also love dogs, meaning they are most welcome to join you in our bar area.”
