  “Arrived 2 minutes before closing due to Google posting the incorrect opening times but the wonderful lady behind the bar fired up the cooker for us and took our entire order. Legend. It was our second time getting food here and for good reason. The food is wonderful and with a pizza bar adjacent to the fish counter, you have a world of options. (Well Italy and the UK). The staff are also add a great flavour enhancer - the quality of the staff working there. Both times that we visited, we had a great conversation with the humorous servers. Something about those interactions makes the food taste even better. I WILL be back again, until then, keep up the good work. Diolch yn fawr.”

  “FOOD is good as well as fish and chips there are many other options and delicious italian dishes and puddings. Local village atmosphere. Proprietors are superb and friendly”

  “food was not good. chips cooked just long enough to be like 75 percent cooked. not crispy at all more like slimy. not fluffy in the middle, just like biting into a semi cooked potato. burger looked and tasted like it had been steamed was cooked but not anywhere near a grill. was lkind of pinky grey in colour and tasted like cow (not in a good way like it tasted like the smell from a butchers shop all in all not a meal that i ever want to think about again! i recommend you go back to basics and develop your chip cooking methods. how can a chippy get by if they cant cook chips properly”

  “Ordered takeaway. Part of the order missing so called and was told would be 20 minutes until delivery of missing order or have a refund for missing items. Meal spoiled by missing order or wait 20 mins for food that was delivered to go cold. …”

  “Probably the most delicious fish and chips I’ve ever had! Staying locally for work and had cod, chips and curry sauce, delicious! Back again and had the same with Irish curry sauce, even better! Cod was cooked fresh, just the right size portion of chips and lovely friendly staff. Good job I have to come down regularly :)”

  “This place is a hidden gem. I happened to stumble upon them on a random day when i was in the area for work. The food is amazing but that people are even better. I was in for literally under 10 mins ordering some takeaway and walked away having the most wholesome human connection. The owner was so friendly and great banter too. this place must be treasured and wish there were more of them. Will definitely visit again. 5 stars!”
