Customer Review Summary

Most reviewers return for food that arrives hot and fresh, in generous portions that several describe as fairly priced. Diners single out the Chicken Tikka Biryani, a Quorn Tikka Masala that suited a vegetarian, and a Meal for 2, while one praises a spice level that favours flavour over heat. Delivery gets mixed reports. Several describe orders arriving on time, one to a touring site well ahead of the quoted time, yet one reviewer reports a wait far beyond the quote, calling it the second time. Complaints centre on Just Eat orders listed with free delivery, where two say the restaurant asked for extra cash on arrival, and one found cancelling difficult. One diner called the Chicken Bhuna bland, with chunks of onion in a beige sauce, and thought the Zuri chicken sauce was much the same. Others mention a polite driver and extra dips, and one asked for a spicier Jalfrezi and got it.

“1 hour 45 for a take away delivery. Was quoted an hour. Second time its happened....won't be a third. Pathetic.”

“Free delivery it says when ordering through Just Eat, so why did you take the order and payment and then call us for £6 cash when you deliver it? The food was bland to say the least, the Chicken Bhuna was pretty awful, no tomato or peppers just loads of onion chunks in a beige sludge sauce which was obviously a frozen prepack. The Zuri chicken we had was supposed to be 'flavourful and different ' , it wasn't, in fact I would go as far saying the sauce was from the same packet as the bhuna sludge sauce. Safe to say we wont be using them again, I'd rather drive in to Bury myself and collect from the VC.”

“THE BEST!!! We have tried lots of different Indian takeaways in Bury st Edmunds but Zeera is definitely the best. Food is always clean, fresh and hot. Delivery is always on time and once or twice I have called to see how long and they have either called the driver or know when they have left. Not just blagged me off with "they are on the way". Delivery driver is always polite too :) As I said the food is always fresh & hot, and always give us extra Dips We have never had an issue with Zeera and will always order from you.... Thank you 😊”

“Another great meal from Zeera, generous size portions at sensible prices. The food always tastes fresh, the spice level is perfect for my tastes, its more about the flavour than heat at my age.”

“Ordered a takeaway to be delivered as our first 'try' of this restaurant; have to say brilliant! Great service, food delivered on time and the quality and taste was amazing - and at a more than fair price. Will def be having more meals from here in 2025! We choose Zeera to try as they have great veggie options, my wife choosing Quorn Tikka Masala which was delicious, whilst had a trad Jalfrezi - they even managed to make it spicier just as i asked for!”
