About Mind The Gap

Mind The Gap is a railway-themed micropub in Broadstairs, at 156 High St. A working model railway runs around the ceiling, and train paraphernalia adds to the theme, so drinkers have a moving train overhead as they sit. The venue follows a micropub and pop-up brewery style, and its beer selection is wide-ranging. A quiz is held regularly, and live music takes place on some occasions. The pub is close to Broadstairs station.

“Been here a few times now since 1st being drawn in during folk week by the sounds of the excellent Blake Sonnet. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and good beer along side live music (on the occasions I've been in) will visit again soon.”

“Fantastic place pop up brewery, well worth a visit, host Glen the host is great and regular s with great tales to chat about. Wednesday is the time to visit as food available. If you are in a round of drinks and one person doesn't want one then the full round is paid and the person gets a token to use next time in the bar as it's paid on. Great idea 💡”
