Quick info
About Rose in June
Rose in June is a pub at 49-50 Trinity Square in Margate that pairs a traditional bar with a modern eatery and a garden. Battered fried pickles come as a bar snack, which gives the bar side of the house something to share. The eatery side leans on burgers, including a blue cheese burger served with fries and fried haloumi. On the drinks list, a Hazelnut Espresso Martini sits among the cocktails. The pub has indoor seating areas as well as the garden, so the space covers a quick drink at the bar or a full meal at a table. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers are the main draw at Rose in June, with reviewers praising the blue cheese burger with fries and fried haloumi, and one calling it the new leader for burgers in Thanet. Close behind are the bar snacks, especially the battered fried pickles, which several describe as highly recommended. Chicken wings also earn praise from one visitor. On the drinks side, reviewers mention a Creekside Juicy IPA, a Hazelnut Espresso Martini and a selection of French drinks on Bastille Day. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and helpful, and several mention that dogs are welcome and enjoyed their visit. The one critical note comes from a reviewer who found the chilli burger over-smothered with ingredients and suggested having it on the side, and who was also puzzled that mineral water could not be bought. Another reviewer describes the pub as tucked away from the chaos of Cliftonville, with inside seating and two outside areas, and one visitor returned on both nights of a stay in Margate.
