About Royal Victoria Pavilion
Royal Victoria Pavilion is a pub on Harbour Parade in Ramsgate, housed in a Grade 2 listed building right on the beach. Floor-to-ceiling windows give both the ground floor and the upstairs floor sea views, with window seats upstairs. Each floor also has its own outdoor terrace with palm trees, so groups can sit outside at either level. The outlook covers the beach, the harbour and the marina. The menu lists 54 dishes, from breakfast in the morning to lighter lunch and dinner bites, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. The drinks list runs to real ales, craft beers and gins, with Worthington's, Ruddles and Stowford Press among the names. Tea and Lavazza coffee come with free refills all day, and table orders can be placed through the Wetherspoon app.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the sea view over Ramsgate's beach and harbour, taken in from floor to ceiling windows, upstairs window seats and outdoor terraces on both floors, with palm trees mentioned. Several describe the building as the biggest Wetherspoons they have visited, with plenty of seating and little wait for a table. Close behind come the low prices and friendly staff, with free tea and coffee refills praised, along with a pint of Abbott. On food, one reviewer praises the potato wedges with tuna, another a quick ham, eggs and chips, and one found the portions too large to finish. Diners also mention a small breakfast, chocolate cake and ice cream, and clean toilets upstairs. One reviewer would not choose it first for a full meal and sees it as a stop for a drink, and another notes the service was friendly despite understaffing. One reviewer recalls a waiter fetching ice for a small container without any fuss.

“Great location in Ramsgate overlooking the beach and harbour. As expected, the menu is the standard Wetherspoons offering, but the real highlight is the setting. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it an excellent place to relax while enjoying the sea views. Toilets: Large, clean toilets upstairs.”

“My wife and I have visited a number of wetherspoons around the UK, and this is the biggest wetherspoons there is. The best thing is the sea views you get from either the ground floor and first floor, this includes an outdoor terrace on both floors. The bars on first floor and ground are well stocked and attractive, which are my wife's words and I agree. The building has elegance, style and a titanic feel to it, which is amazing. Staff are friendly and polite and they dont rush you, while your deciding what to have. Well done Ramsgate Spoons 😘”

“This has got to be one of the best views from a pub going! Well done to weatherspoons for rescuing this grade 2 listed building from imminent collapse. The people of Ramsgate and surrounding area should feel themselves lucky to have this pub right on the beach, especially with weatherspoons excellent prices. Lovely floor to ceiling windows. Will definitely return, lovely and clean pub especially the large windows! Excellent pint of Abbott, but hey what a view! Thanks all 👍🏻👏🏻”

“A great place to eat and drink. Right next to the beach at Ramsgate. And near the harbour as well. The service was fast, I ordered ham eggs chips and in 5 mins I was eating. It was well cooked, hot and delicious. And it was just over £10 ( 2026 prices) There is a upstairs as well that looked very nice, I even went back to have chocolate cake and ice cream later in the day. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. There's some slot machines inside as well.”

“We were very impressed with Wetherspoons. The food was really good, and the prices were fantastic value for money. In fact, my only complaint was that the portions were so large that I couldn’t finish my meal last night! We came back this morning to try breakfast, and the small breakfast was exactly the right size and just as enjoyable. The free coffee refills were a great bonus and added even more value to an already excellent meal. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. One of the waiters was kind enough to provide some ice for my small ice container without any fuss, which was much appreciated. Great food, excellent prices, generous portions, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
