“I decided to try a different chip shop than my usual one. I ordered a battered sausage, chips, curry sauce, and mozzarella sticks. The best part of the meal was the battered sausage. The chips and mozzarella sticks genuinely just tasted of oil, to the point that it made me feel nauseous. The curry sauce was okay, but it definitely didn’t taste like the usual curry sauce you’d expect from a chip shop. I ordered around 6pm, which I assume is a busy time, but that’s no excuse for clearly refried chips.”
