Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the clear draw, with reviewers repeatedly praising the poached eggs on toast, the full English, and the avocado on toast with egg and bacon as carefully cooked and generous. Close behind, lunch options draw praise too, including the broccoli and cheese frittata, soup and toast, and gluten free toasties served with a recommended side salad. Coffee comes up again and again as a highlight, alongside a latte one reviewer called the best, and several mention the tea selection and gluten free options favorably. A few note minor drawbacks: one found the meaty breakfast lacking variety, another found a server less warm, and one reviewer flagged that strong scents from neighboring market stalls can be noticeable to those sensitive to smell. Seating is limited since it's a small counter within the Corn Exchange market, with one diner noting it grew hard to find a table after mid morning, and reservations aren't possible. Reviewers often close by saying they'd return, with one recalling being nearly full again shortly after a ten o'clock visit.

“LOVED THIS PLACE! Kristy (I think is her name?) was so sweet and recommended a side salad with our gluten free toasties which was a great move, it’s delicious. Definitely worth a visit, and located in a super cute inside market. We got gluten free cannoli, frittata, and toasties sooo delicious”

“Cute place, relatively speaking plenty of seating. Really tasty sandwiches and toasties at a very reasonable price. Yummy shopping options as well.”

“A really nice place for an inexpensive and interesting light lunch. We had the soup & toast and a tuna mayo/ cheese/ other stuff toastie and both were very good. It has a laid back, informal vibe which, many years ago, I would have described as hippyish. A very likeable place. Total cost, with drinks, for two people was just over £20 - perfectly reasonable. It’s a small place with just a few tables set out in the body of the Corn Exchange.”

“Lovely chatty friendly staff. Beautiful, BIG breakfast. I had the avocados on toast with egg and bacon….. stunning. Latte was the best.”
