About Honi Poke Bristol
Honi Poke Bristol is a poke bar inside the Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol, serving Hawaiian-style poke bowls ordered at a kiosk. Diners build their own bowl by choosing sushi rice or brown rice, a protein such as salmon or red tuna, and a sauce. The menu also lists named bowls, including the Miso Salmon, and vegetarians can order the King Oyster Mushroom bowl. The bar is open daily, and dogs are welcome, so a dog can come along with its owner. There is no toilet inside the restaurant, so customers use the centre's facilities. Mochi is sold for dessert.

Customer Review Summary
Salmon draws the most praise, from the sashimi salmon in the signature Honi Poké bowl to the Miso Salmon, and one diner singles out the salmon and red tuna as high quality. Close behind are the generous portions, which reviewers say are packed with rice and protein despite a small-looking bowl, and the friendly staff. Several also like building their own bowl at the kiosk, for example brown rice, chicken and teriyaki sauce, and mention the Katsu Chicken bowl and the Little Moons strawberry cheesecake mochi. Criticism is sharper in a few reviews. One diner found the avocado extremely bitter and the imitation crab partly frozen, saying the place favors interior and branding over food quality. One reviewer reports a fruit fly in a takeaway container, with two calls and two emails unanswered. Another had hoped for warm cooked broccoli. A reviewer whose pickup order was missing paid-for items suggests checking before leaving, and says the staff put it right straight away.

“We dined in, staff was pleasant, place is nice, but food itself was bad. Avocado for some reason was bitter( extremely bitter), pieces of imitation crab still partially frozen, rice was not delicious, salmon was not bad, but not enough to enjoy the meal. It feels like a place that invested in interior and branding but does not prioritize food quality.”

“Rather found this place by accident. Walked past it whilst lost trying to find my hotel. I love a poké and it was lunch time so thought why not? Had the Honi Poké - lovely fresh sashimi salmon, a spicy chilli garlic dressing, fresh veggies and fruit on sushi rice. Great thing was that you can easily customise your bowl. I'm not a fan of crispy onions and was able to remove them at the press of a button. Food was made straight away. I imagine as a quick lunch at work it's just the ticket. And poké is a healthy meal - high in veggies and high quality protein. If raw fish ain't your thing, they do chicken teriyaki, ramen bowls and katsu as well. Their vegetarian range sounds tasty as well. If I make it back there this trip I want to try the King Oyster Mushroom bowl”

“Amazing experience. The ordering process is very fast and smooth at the kiosk. The food is freshly made and top quality with great taste. The prices are still on the ground and you can compose your own bowl too. We had Katsu Chicken bowl and a custom one with brown rice, chicken and teryaki sauce. Also tried the Little Moons mochi (strawberry cheescake), Blood orange LemonAid and the black truffle crisps. All were amazing.”

“Amazing portion size. High quality tasty food, especially the salmon and red tuna. Staff are very friendly. Really healthy alternative when grabbing something to eat.”

“I'm so glad they've finally arrived in Bristol. I first tried their bowls in London and was really impressed with the quality and flavour. Even though I haven't been since the day it opened, my friends and I greatly love the quality of the cuisine and the location's vibe. Furthermore, I appreciate the variety of their menu because there is something for everyone at a reasonable price.”
