Customer Review Summary
Fried rice draws the most praise, from the Mushroom Fried Rice and Vegetable Fried Rice to an egg fried rice with big, golden egg pieces. Close behind are the sweet and sour, where one reviewer singles out the pineapple, and the Veggie "Chicken" Curry. Reviewers describe generous portions, food that arrives hot, fresh and flavourful, and friendly staff, and those collecting say orders are ready quickly. The recurring complaint is delivery and phone service. One reviewer waited well past the app's estimate, could not reach anyone by phone and was still charged. Another was put on hold, then met with rudeness and a hung-up call. Cold food comes up too, though one reviewer traced it to a delivery driver who held the order before dropping it off. One diner found the salt and chilli squid and crispy shredded chilli beef rubbery. When an order came out wrong, one regular says it was replaced straight away with no hassle.

“I read the reviews and decided that most the negatives were because of Deliveroo, lateness, food being cold etc. so I did a collection. First impressions, the shop is clean. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Food was fresh and quick. Packed well and still very hot still when I got home. Not greasy, very flavourful and filling. Good portions for the price. 2 suggestions - Pork balls would be nice. Menus, whether paper or on your own website would help. Thank you. I will be back.”

“Rude and poor service. Avoided at all cost. Waiting over 1 hrs for food. Called and they put me on hold to talk to another customer. When I called back, they were rude and hung up.”

“This is our local Chinese and it’s the best we’ve found in Brighton. Always ready quickly (for pick up) and really friendly service. Good prices. Food tastes good quality. Last time we had an error in our order for the first time but they replaced it straight away with no hassle.”

“Just ordered for the 1st time. And the food is delicious. Very tasty. Happy to pay that extra for delivery as I live quite far. Only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because the syrup from the banana fritters leaked. Which is not a fault of their own. Would imagine it happened in transit.”
