  “WARNING- DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! This is the worse Chinese I have EVER eaten. We ordered nearly £200 worth for a hen party on Friday 10/07/2026 and the majority of us now have food poisoning. Most of the dishes tasted disgusting, a lot of the food was left due to not being able to stomach it even when intoxicated! This restaurant has put me off Chinese for life!”

  “Order from here all the time from their website directly, skipping the apps and added fees. They provide exactly what I want: Proper takeout chinese at a great price. The fried rice is comforting. The mixed starters is a great deal and fun to eat. The crunchy chicken and beef are delicious. On top of that they often toss in some prawn crackers! I dont bother ordering Chinese from anywhere else anymore!”

  “Best takeaway in all of Brighton and Hove, they always add little extras to our order and the food tastes phenomenal too. I am never disappointed by Magic Wok, always have a full stomach. You can tell that each dish is crafted with love, it really shows. I've never had better egg fried rice in my life, and the ribs are so good. I work in food service and I always order for me and my partner when I am too tired after work to cook for myself; Magic Wok actually inspires me to keep going some days with how good it is. My sincerest gratitude, well done team, and thank you.”

  “Ordered from this restaurant and the lemon chicken came with no sauce but clearly visible were black hairs inside the container!! I called to tell them this and the lady who was supposedly the manager was extremely rude and nasty and told us that everyone has hair it’s not dirty!! SO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Also the lemon chicken had no sauce on it!!”

  “it had 5 stars on just eat so i was very excited. overall it was nice and quite filling, but i almost choked on the duck many times (as it was quite dry rather than crispy and there was too many bones). the main letdown was the expired cucumber at the bottom of the salad that they attempted to hide which was really unappetizing. they could’ve at least cut around the middle as it was mushy. overall satisfactory. the lady that delivered my food was really kind !!”

  “I love how fresh the food always tastes. Sometimes I think maybe they know my order so well that they “nice me”. But nope , it doesn’t matter if I order to different address off another phone they got it right ! I trust Magic Wok as their food has never disappointed me. Their special fried rice so fresh and never tastes over greasy. The rice isn’t sticky and doesn’t clump together. Same goes for the ChickenChowM, very fresh and not overdone. I hope my pictures do it justice. Their crispy butterfly king prawn with sauce delicious. Perfect crunch, crisp ones is visible in pic. I should of ordered their sticky beef however due to current climate I abs to hold some £ back. Good portion size. ✅ Another really important note I think I must add : I’ve NEVER found any kind of unwanted stuff 👀 such as hair etc in my food (unlike other places & I have tried ALOT of Chinese takeaways in Brighton - who seem to eventually fail) This is my trusted go to & I recommend it to anyone who visit Brighton. ✨ MAGIC WOK ✨ INDEED ✨”
