“Had the senior meal which included fish & chips, peas, bread & butter plus tea. This was just enough for us as we normally find portions are to much for us to eat. The batter on the fish was just right & the chips were perfect. Staff all friendly & helpful.”

“When we went in & ordered it was not busy at all. They have a card on the table that says all food is cooked fresh & that it will take at least 15 mins for the food to arrive - 30 mins in busy periods. Not an issue so we were happy to wait. 15 mins later it did start to get a bit busier so we gave them the benefit of the doubt & continued to wait. After another 20 mins - we've now been waiting 35 mins - 2 other tables who arrived & ordered after us got their food! So we queried where our order was as we'd only received our drinks. The guy went to check & returned full of apologies but the order had not been put through to the kitchen. He promised it would only be another 5 mins & offered us some free drinks. We accepted, 20 mins later our food finally arrived followed by our free drinks. So a total wait of just under 1 hour for what turned out to be mediocre food. Then, upon leaving, we had to queue for approximately 10 mins just to pay the bill!!! Definitely will not be returning.”
