  “When I go on holiday to Bridlington, I usually go fishing on a charter boat and eating out at Speedy Peppers, they have good service and have a wide variety of food from burgers to pizzas, I love their pizzas as they are cooked to perfection and taste delicious. However, when I tried their calzone this year, I was surprised. It's great that you can choose any pizza topping for the inside of the calzone, but it is a bit of a gripe that the smallest size is 12 inches and not 10, and also the calzone was not cut which made it a bit hard to eat. But I'd still recommend them!”

  “Very disappointing experience. I ordered 3 pizzas but only received 2. I also ordered a cheeseburger, which arrived without sauce, salad, or even cheese. When I contacted the restaurant, the issue was not resolved, and the call was ended abruptly. This is the second time this has happened, and the customer service was very poor. As a paying customer, I expect my order to be correct or properly resolved with an apology. Unfortunately, this was not the case. This is my last experience with them.”

  “Excellent, flavoursome food, that is even better value. I ordered 5 chicken strips with chips and BBQ Sauce, and it was only £7. Staff were friendly, too.”

  “I’d like to give it a 5 star as the food always tastes amazing but twice now we have rang up for a double burger and twice they have sent a single and both times we get same answer when we ring ( well you didn’t ask for a double ) then we say yes we did then she says well we only charged you for a single then hangs up WELL I DIDNT ASK FOR A SINGLE DID I, JUST GIVE ME WHAT I ASK FOR DONT SAY WELL WE ONLY CHARGED FOR A SINGLE ITS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR SORT IT OUT MUCH LOVE THE BURGER BOIIIISSSSS”

  “Iv been coming to this takeaway for a few months now never a problem food is nice. 14th Feb illl not be coming back. I was watching them through the window as I was waiting for the food. Two of the staff was vapein inside the shop. This was around food that was being cooked and prepared. I just said that's not a good thing to see when your ordering food two staff vapein!! To them be met with abuse. They could of delt with it better but they didn't. Definitely won't be coming here again. Staff are rude and what I seen vapin has put me off”

  “My partner just ordered a pizza 2 slices in noticed green mould patches in the base, not acceptable at all tbh, it's not nice knowing the food you pay for and expect quality has mould on, granted we rang explained and they came out and replaced with a new pizza free of charge”

  “Absolutely appalling service. Taking too many orders and being unable to deal with them. Our order got "lost". Waited 55 minutes, for 2 small pizzas and a burger, only to be told we didn't order a burger! Eventually she found our order number but didn't apologise. Tried to charge £4 extra for 2 tubs of mayo. Then we get to the food... absolutely disgusting. The burger was cold and hard and the pizzas were also cold and so burnt and overbaked the toppings had gone hard and we couldn't tell which was which. Went to go back and complain but they'd locked the doors. Needless to say it all went in the bin. Waste of £30. If I could give less than 0 stars I would!”

  “4 of us got donner meat and chips and a garlic bread. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the worse takeaway I've ever had. The donner meat and garlic bread was sooo stale, it sounded like you were eating crisps when you had it. The portions were extremely small and it costs over £24. I can't express how bad it was, I wouldn't wish recommend this to my worse enemy, terrible terrible terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.”

  “Our first visit to Speedy Peppers so weren't sure what to expect. It was the end of a busy day, no time to cook. We fancied pizza, one of us fancied a chicken burger. We Googled the reviews and Speedy Peppers came out well. The shop was quiet, so the order was placed quickly. The pizzas and burger were cooked fresh. Back at home, the chicken burger got a thumbs up. The pizzas were OK. Not outstanding but they hit the spot.”
