“Been going here few times over the years but won't be going again due to hearing about rat infestation and hygiene score of 1 being reported on the 7th September 2026 on the telegraph and argus, really disturbing reading reporting a lot of things like flour mixer having rat droppings, seriously disgusting knowing now I've fed my wife and kids food from here .never going here again”

“Food is good but the quality of chap kebabs have dropped significantly. It has more flour than meat. But its cheap as chips. Atmosphere isnt suitable for families.”

“Ordered breakfast from Abaseen via Uber Eats: 2 plain parathas, 1 Aloo Paratha, omelette, and Lahori Paye. Let’s start with the one positive: portion size is very good. You definitely get a full plate for your money. Unfortunately, that’s where the wins end. Taste-wise, it really missed the mark. The Lahori Paye were swimming in oil—so greasy they were honestly not consumable. The Aloo Paratha was basically a plain paratha, with little to no aloo filling at all, which was disappointing and misleading. The plain parathas were just okay, nothing memorable. The omelette was the only decent, eatable item in the whole order. This place is not it for breakfast. Maybe Abaseen shines with other items on their menu, but based on this experience, breakfast is a hard no. Came in with expectations, left very disappointed. Wouldn’t order breakfast again.”

“The food they sell in here are delicious. They are worth it price. Especially their chappal kebabs are top tier. I would personally come here more frequently. If your looking for a place to nibble on I say give this place a try. It won't make you regret it”

“My To Go To Spot For Chapel Kebabs. Never Had A Problem With The Service Or Food Always Has The Authentic Taste And Is Spot On. For Me This Is The Flagship Store Of The Franchise. Great Quality And Even Better Value For Money As The Potion Sizes Here Are Not Comparable To Anyone Else In Bradford As It Is One Of The Biggest Kebab I Have Had. I Have Been Using This Shop For Many Years And Will Continue To Do So. The Food Is Delicious Across The Menu Regardless Of Takeout Or Eat In. Starters and Curries Highly Recommended Here. Keep Up The Good Service :)”

Customer Review Summary

Chapli kebabs are what reviewers raise most, with several calling them tasty or top tier and one praising the spices and how well they held up when reheated hours later. The red and green mint chutneys get a mention as a good match, and the naan is described as big enough to share between three. Close behind are the chicken karahi and roti, which one diner found ok and another found not spicy at all but still okay. Portions and prices draw repeated approval, with long-standing regulars describing generous sizes and reasonable cost. The complaints are specific. One reviewer says the chapli kebabs have dropped in quality and hold more flour than meat, and another says the atmosphere is not suitable for families. A breakfast delivery order drew the sharpest criticism: the Lahori Paye were so oily they were uneatable, and the Aloo Paratha had almost no aloo filling, though the omelette was fine. Reviewers also note that parking near the shop can be difficult.
