“2/5 Stars Delivered on time, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The naan breads were doughy and lacked the characteristic charring you’d expect from a tandoor. The extra curry sauce was thin, bland and unpleasant enough that we threw it away. The Chicken Kari didn’t resemble any kari I’ve had before. The sauce was runny and lacked depth of flavour, with coriander being the only taste that really came through. The chicken itself was tender, although it was made with tikka-style pieces rather than plain chicken. Including the restaurant’s delivery charge and Uber’s fees, the order came to just over £20 for one main, two naans and an extra sauce, which didn’t represent good value. Sadly, I wouldn’t order from here again.”

“We are regulars of Taste of Bengal. We find the food delicious and exceptionally good value, especially when ordering the set menus for 2 people, our favourite is the hot one as shown. It serves 2 people well as it also comes with a nan and 2 poppadoms with dips. We usually order weekly. This is the best takeaway and Indian in Bournemouth.”

“Have been ordering from here since they opened many years ago. The food is now so inconsistent, normally so spicy you can't eat it. There Naan are always hard over cooked and are actually worse than a cheap supermarket Naan. Such a shame, they were 1 of the best.”

“Ordered via uber eats food came after 1.5 hours! Probably the worst curry I’ve ever had in my life! Curry was very runny and pretty tasteless and rice was all old and dry and broken. Ordered two curry’s one went straight to the bin as it was not edible . I will never order from this restaurant again.”
