Quick info
About Brazilian Coffee House
On Hinton Chambers in Bournemouth, Brazilian Coffee House is a coffee shop built around Brazilian food and drink. The coffee comes from a sustainable farm in Minas Gerais and is roasted in London. The kitchen serves a slow-cooked ribs sandwich, made as a pulled beef rib ciabatta with homemade green garlic mayo and chilli sauce. Coxinhas and pão de queijo sit alongside it as Brazilian snacks. Sweets, homemade puddings and cake cover the dessert side, and exotic juices are available for those who skip the coffee. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring a pet along. Brazilian music plays in the background.

Customer Review Summary
Pao de queijo is the item reviewers name most, with several singling out the cheesy bread alongside the pastel de carne and the Guarana drink. Close behind is the beef rib sandwich, described as tender and soft, with crusty bread, homemade green garlic mayo and chilli sauce. One reviewer says the beef ribs ciabatta stole the show at a spread that also included coxinhas and a tapioca wrap. Desserts draw their own praise, including the brigadeiro, pineapple cake, Brazilian flan, a chocolate pudding and a carrot cake that tasted fresh and homemade. Others mention the fresh pineapple juice, an acai bowl and fries cooked to perfection. A reviewer with coeliac disease found many options gluten free or adaptable. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is described as chilled and relaxing, with calming Brazilian music in the background. One reviewer liked the food enough to return the next day for more of everything.

“Really nice cafe and service for those who are part of the Brazilian family and also all of those who wants to discover what Brazilian cuisine is ! I would definitely recommend their Pao de Queijo and as well the Pastel de Carne. As a drink they have the wonderful Guarana ! So tasty, close your eyes and you’re immediately travelling to Ipanema beach ! 🏖️”

“Lovely unassuming Brazilian cafe with delicious food. We had the chicken and cheese croquet which is yuuuum. The banana, strawberry etc pudding and the chocolate pudding oh my gosh try it and thank me later. It was so good we went back the next day and got more of everything.”

“We stumbled across this cafe yesterday 💖 it had such a nice cosy vibe with the loveliest staff & the food was incredible. I have coeliac disease and many of the options were gluten free and/or could be altered so that I can eat it :-) we especially liked the pao de queijo (cheesey bread) & the popular Brazilian drink Guaraná. If we visit Bournemouth again, we will definitely be back!!”
