  “I have visited for years the gentleman owner friendly and welcoming years ago. They make a good coffee. I do feel the older lady can be offputting. I believe she worked with the Krays years ago. Bless her heart!”

  “So I sat outside today with my 2 little dogs who were sat quietly. The older waitress came to Me abruptly and gave the dogs a look to kill “ keep them over there “ pointing to a corner . So rude ! It was clear she doesn’t like her job . The other 2 were lovely tho but this women needs to be told or you will loose custom !”

  “I have always found the cleaning of tables between customers is poor,which is off putting. Shouldn't have to ask them to clean table & not forgetting the edges,just as important. All seems very slap dash attitude. Don't go to them now because of that...Also have noticed the eating outside area ,never looks like its seen a broom or mop! Another hygiene area could be abit more attention to detail,is wiping the laminated menu's 🤔.”

  “Me and my partner went to the cafe had so much good things about it we sit outside and waited and waited the service is really bad did not want to go there again the food was terrible we've got up and left halfway through our breakfast would not recommend it”

  “Beloved by the over 80s who like traditional food and cups of tea. Nothing wrong with that just not my idea of cafe society. Personal opinion.”

  “Poorly ventilated indoor dine-in area-feels as if you are sitting right in the kitchen, badly made panini, missing salad, shoddy packaging for takeaway. On the bright side, the outdoor seating looks inviting in the right weather but I wouldn’t dare to recommend more than a cup of coffee, assuming coffee can’t go too wrong”

  “Average food, very over priced, also witnessed sausages being cooked in the microwave. Very small portions for the price you pay. Obviously because of the area it's in they know they can get away with charging more... sadly won't be going again and if anyone asks I shall be truthful. Two small meals with a hot drink for two people £28!! As for the staff, when we asked to split the bill we we made to feel like it was a bit of an inconvenience to them.”

  “We just came in for a sandwich for lunch. There was a good selection, however we thought that it was a bit pricey for what we were given compared to some other cafes. The food was okay, and the staff were really friendly. I got the mozzarella, ham and tomato toastie.”

  “Lovely little cafe in a nice setting. (Westbourne Arcade). We had a full English Breakfast. All cooked to perfection. Bacon nice and thick. Sausages tasty. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Full English cost £9. Not to expensive. Would definitely go back when in the area.”
