About Flirt Cafe Bar
Flirt Cafe Bar is a family-owned cafe and bar at 21 The Triangle in Bournemouth, run by the same family since 2011. The kitchen serves a Venezuelan Cachapa, a sweetcorn pancake, alongside an all-day breakfast of sausages, poached eggs and doorstop toast. The menu splits into a veggie and vegan list and a meat list, with gluten free options on offer. Pink and neon touches and a flamingo decorate the interior, which has wooden tables and chairs plus sofas. Customers order at the counter and then choose their own seat. Dogs are welcome inside.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws most reviewers, with the sausages in an all day breakfast, perfectly poached eggs on doorstop toast and a bacon sandwich all singled out. Close behind are the veggie options, including a veggie sarnie and a Veggie Lite breakfast with a soya cappuccino, plus a Venezuelan cachapa, a cheesy sweetcorn pancake. Coffee, cake, smoothies and a peach iced tea also get mentions. Reviewers describe friendly, welcoming staff, a colourful and slightly camp interior with pink and neon, good music and a relaxed atmosphere. Several say prices are reasonable and food arrives quickly. Families note space for a high chair and pushchair and helpful handling of children's food, and dog owners say the place lets dogs inside and that their dogs get plenty of attention. The one recurring drawback is that it is a very sought after spot, so ordering at the counter can be difficult at times. One reviewer, offered a drink they had never tried, was told they could return to the front and have it sweetened.

“We were really well looked after here. I came with my wife and 8-month-old child. We were given a warm welcome and a suitable table with space for high chair and pushchair. The food was absolutely delicious and the menu very appealing - I had the Venezuelan Cachapa (a very cheesy sweetcorn pancake), which was amazing - but there were no issues with our baby having her own food. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this place for young families looking for a safe, relaxed and welcoming spot.”

“This fantastic cafe was a godsend on a rainy afternoon in Bournemouth. A welcome break from the rain, colourful decor, loads of seating, good music and excellent menu. Lovely hearty meals, delicious smoothies and cakes. And they let dogs inside. Really attentive and friendly staff. Great!”

“I enjoy popping in when visiting friends or family in Bournemouth. I've never had a bad meal. You simply order your meal/drinks and find a table (inside or outside). Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Wheelchair friendly and meat alternative options available too.”

“Lovey welcoming staff and clean cafe. Good service located in the Triangle area. Prices are very very reasonable and we didn't wait long for our food. Very good value. We visited the August BH Sunday. The cafe has a few tables spare We had the veggie sarnie, a ginger beer and Veggie Lite Flirt breakfast with a soya cappuccino. Just right, I cannot fault anything. They have a veggie/vegan menue and a meat menu.”
