  “Haven t dined in but always so impressed with the takeaways. Usually dupiaza, R Josh, the odd madras or a veggie medium for a change. Tonight i revisited an ild friend from years ago .. chicken tikka pathia. Oh my life!!! It is off the scale brilliant!!! Cooked perfectly, flavour spot on and a subtle aromatic spice as a different flavour hint. Why did we stay apart so long, my beautiful pathia??? I can see us hooking up frequently :) xx If you haven t tried this, do give it a whirl. :) xx”

  “Have been using Bengal Cottage for years and we visited this weekend with a group of about thirty from the walking group that I operate. The service was amazing and friendly as always, everybody's food served efficiently and no mix ups with who had ordered what. But the FOOD IS UNREAL, absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. We are spoiled every time we go, decent choice as well with good portion sizes. Be sure to bob in for a top notch Ruby! And thanks to all the staff for welcoming us in to the restaurant - see you next time! COLIN.”

  “Usually order from here and it’s spot on, however tonight was bad, half full pack of chips (we get these for our son) our curry’s tasted so watery, we didn’t actually bother eating it. Tasted like nothing, literally no flavour.”

  “Chuffed to bits the awesome Bengal Cottage is two mins from home :) Absolutely LOVE the food here. I have had curries and lately addicted to the mega delicious smash burger; literally best burger ever!! Plus a side of nacho cheesy chips piping hot and mega cheesy perfect! On top of the best food the staff there are so lovely. Highly recommend this awesome place big time!!”

  “Honestly use to love this place but now just gone really bad it as if no care in the world any more. Food was horrendous my food was just swimming in oily water .chicken jalfrezi was not cooked enough. considering I ordered food at 7 just to having to wait for food to all be re cooked because one of the chefs lost the plaster in my food be nice if u just admit it instead of just make out no clue about it. Will deffo not be coming back again .”

  “Went there for a casual meal and did not except the service and quality to be so good! Honestly the food was amazing and being Bengali myself I could totally taste and see how they have actually put traditional taste and texture into the food. A lot of places compromise but this place certainly doesn't. It is quite a small venue and would love if it had a little refurb done to modernise it a bit more. But other than that top marks for this place. All the other customers seemed to love their food too and they cooked our meal exactly how we wanted it !”
