  “Upon arriving at this highly-praised establishment, I was eager to see if it lived up to its reputation. With high expectations in mind, I was a little concerned to find myself the only customer in the shop at 7pm—a peak time for most places. Nevertheless, I decided to dive in and ordered their most popular menu item, the Bucks Burger meal. The pricing quickly set the tone. At £13.45 for a burger meal, I anticipated something exceptional, but it didn’t deliver. Adding a slice of cheddar cheese cost an additional £1—a steep price for such a basic ingredient. To make matters worse, a single sauce came to an eye-watering £1.50, which felt like a blatant rip-off considering it was needed to complement fries that weren’t up to scratch. The service left much to be desired. Despite being the only customer, it took a full 15 minutes for my order to arrive. The burger looked promising, with fresh chicken and an appealing presentation. The fries were crispy, but they tasted of old oil, which gave them an overpowering, unpleasant flavour. As for the burger, the chicken itself was fresh and well-cooked, but the experience was let down by the use of cheap-tasting mayo, which detracted from the overall quality. Ultimately, the experience felt like poor value for money. The adage “never meet your heroes” rang true here. While the chicken burger was a highlight, the slow service, inflated prices, and inconsistent quality made this a disappointing visit. For a more satisfying meal at a better price, Dairy King remains the better choice. In short: overpriced, underwhelming, and not worth a second visit. But if you do decide to come just try the burger or the chicken. Dont waste your money on the fries and cheap can of tango orange.”
