Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the lamb or chicken mandi, praised as cooked to perfection and paired with garlic sauce and red sauce, which diners call flavourful. Close behind is the complimentary soup, described as warming and tasty, especially with chilli sauce, and one reviewer's son went back for another bowl. Others name the lamb liver, molowwa bread, mulawi nan, fashaa and a platter for two, while the meat is called tender and the rice abundant and fragrant. Portions and prices draw repeated approval, and the tea with condensed milk and the free tea with dessert get a mention. Several describe being seated in a private family area downstairs, one after the upstairs room was fully booked, and one says the owner explained the dishes to first-time Yemeni diners. Staff are called friendly and attentive, even during a busy iftar. The only drawback noted is the lack of a car park, though one reviewer says free side-street parking is available. One reviewer closes the meal with the free tea and plans to return.
