About The Westwood Restaurant
The Westwood Restaurant is a British restaurant and bar on New Walk in Beverley, set in a Georgian courthouse. A brother and sister team runs the business, and inside the courthouse the interior combines dark wood with clean lines. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food and its presentation, with one pointing to a beautifully cooked fillet steak. Several describe service as attentive without being intrusive, and anniversary visits come up more than once. The main caveat is from one diner, who found the creme brulee's thick caramel layer unpleasant and the crab starter's bed of salt unexplained. One also calls the meal not cheap.

“Overall the food was ok, main course was great. Starters was ok and the dessert creme brulee had a very thick layer of caramel sugar on top which was not pleasant to eat. The special crab starter was also served on a bed of salt which was not explained and was mistaken for a source of edible carb. Very nice attention with Macron, as we visited the place for our anniversary celebration.”
