“What a fantastic pub! A proper bustling town centre pub. Great beer selection of ales and keg. The bar lady was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, smiling and even approached my dad and me as our pints were finishing to ask if we wanted another. Unfortunately we were on the move. Great pub and lovely staff! 🙂”

“The food was lovely and just the right amount - my friend wasn't sure whether to order the burger as they can be overwhelming but it was perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly. All round great experience.”

“Had been before. Heard it had changed hands. Went for a breakfast with 4 other people. Pre-booked table. Food was great and plenty of it. Service was very friendly. Overall a great experience. £57 spent which includes tea/coffee. Excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend it. *****”

“I’ve been coming to Corner House weekly for around two years now, usually for breakfast with my daughter, and we’ve always had a fantastic experience. The food is consistently excellent, the staff are lovely and welcoming, and one of the things I really appreciate is that there always seems to be seating available when we visit. Compared with some of the other places in the local area, it’s also much quieter and more relaxed, which makes it a great place to enjoy breakfast together. A brilliant local spot that I’m always happy to recommend!”
