  “Called in for a quick sit down. Great pub. Airy and fresh. Lady serving... amazingly friendly, cheerful and great service. Drinks... inexpensive. Served perfectly. Cash preferred... which is great! Tables clean. Despite not eating... great menus. Homemade food. Honest. Clean toilets and clean carpets, bar etc. Well worth a visit.”

  “Stopped in here with family on holiday. Food was delicious and at a bargin price. Place was immaculate - genuinely had the cleanest pub toilets I've ever seen in my life. Could not fault the place. Very highly recommend.”

  “What a crappy place! The place looks from the outside inviting, but the food and service are horrible! Especially when you are a foreign tourist checking out the local village! After long waiting, no one comes to your table if you want to order something! After a while I went to the bar.I have ordered a soda and fish and chips. The chips were homemade and not tasteful. The fish was average overloaded with peas. When I ordered at the bar and sat at my table suddenly a rude man tells you to pay immediately! I was thinking, why did the lady who took the order didn’t say anything? This was a very weird and unfriendly way of serving customers! I have tried more eateries, but serving customers is a real issue in this town! They just let you wait! I have seen this with more customers who want to order and the waiter isn’t coming! Anyway this place is good for the locals. Definitely not for tourists!”

  “Fabulous wee pub, excellent food,chips are awesome. The service from dark haired girl with glasses was excellent She was friendly, attentive and had a lovely smile. However the ladies toilets need attention. Our visit was somewhat irritating 😑 due to the other loud mouthed barmaid with fair hair, banging on about her car crash, the dodgy garage, the dodgy driving instructor etc. etc. A full hour she talked full volume. Ruined our visit.”

  “A tall male staff was very rude and horrible to myself and colleagues and told us to get of the pub. My colleague poured a class of water on the plants and he claims it is disrespectful to pour water on a plant which is part of the pub, which I have never heard anywhere in this world.”
