Customer Review Summary
Small plates draw the most praise. One reviewer calls the Piri Piri prawns excellent and the ham hock and Gruyère croquettes unbelievable, while others single out the calamari, pizza, and a cheese board with a bread platter. Portions are described as more than generous, with some diners taking leftovers home. The wine list is called vast, with a Malbec and a Spanish white getting specific mentions, though one reviewer found the by-the-glass choice very small. Corkage splits opinion, with one reviewer counting it against the place and another calling it low. Complaints centre on service and value. One reviewer describes rude staff, a tasting pour gone in two mouthfuls, and no one available to talk through the wines. Another says staff pressed the bill before drinks were finished, and a third found it hard to get attention in a busy room. Starters were called too salty, Guinness pints were poorly finished, and a few call it expensive. Many others describe friendly, attentive staff, and one terrace party was brought blankets when the evening turned chilly.

“Outside terrace seating area and internal area. Lovely vibe, cozy, low lit restaurant inside. Nice menu, not lots to choose from but a good variety.”

“Personally one of the best meals of my life. I got the Piri Piri prawns which were excellent, the ham hock and Gruyère cheese croquettes were unbelievable and the finally the chicken wings were excellent. I paired my meal with a Spanish white wine which was superb. Staff where very nice. My only critique of the restaurant is that I did feel they were a little unstaffed, it was hard to get the attention of staff as they were so busy. Overall I would definitely recommend the place if you are looking for a wine/tapas place in Belfast”

“Was a nice place with amazing drink selection and warm atmosphere. A few members of staff were hovering and pushing bills on us before we finished enjoying our drinks. Felt a bit like they were worried we would do a runner. Keeping in mind we spent £60 upfront on wine it felt a bit unjustified to be pressing us. I'll go again at some point and will happily up my score, hoping it was just a one off misunderstanding.”

“Ate in the terrace on a Sunday evening. Service was quick, attentive and friendly . The dreaded manager of prior reviews was no where to be seen. A selection of light plates , small plates and pizza are available. We had the calamari and pizza. All quite good. While there was a very small selection of wine by the glass , the Malbec was good and is recommended.”
