About Revolución de Cuba Belfast
Revolución de Cuba Belfast is a Cuban cocktail bar and restaurant on Arthur St in the city centre, set in an Art Nouveau building where the decor is a feature in its own right. The drinks list includes mojitos and Zombies, and happy hour covers cocktails. Food centres on tacos and tapas, with desserts to finish. For groups and visitors who want something more hands-on, a cocktail masterclass is offered with food included. A bottomless brunch pairs an entree with unlimited drinks for a set time. Live music comes from a singer and guitarist. The toilets are upstairs, up several flights of stairs.

Customer Review Summary
Cocktails draw the most praise, especially the cocktail masterclasses, where one reviewer calls the host funny and another found the explanations very good. Reviewers name a strawberry daiquiri that was just the right amount of fruity and boozy, mojitos that were delicious, and a watermelon cooler one suggests picking during a masterclass. Another found the Zombies tasty but light on alcohol, with the sugar staying cold even after a request to relight it. The beautiful interior and live music are also singled out, though one reviewer found the performers good but lacking charisma. Food is more mixed. Tacos are a highlight, while tapas arrived cold, sweet potato fries were overcooked almost black, and churros disappointed. Several praise friendly service, yet one reviewer describes a group of twelve being asked to leave when part of their order never arrived. That reviewer alleges discrimination and says only one friend received a refund. Another found the upstairs gents hand dryers not working. At a bottomless brunch, one reviewer's drinks were kept topped up the entire time.

“We love here, come all the time and always enjoy the food, drink and entertainment. Called in at the fleadh for two mojitos which were delicious as always. The cocktails are such a high standard for being a chain bar, you wouldn't expect it, but we can't praise them enough. Also probably the most beautiful interior for any bar in Belfast with really friendly staff.”

“This place was fantastic. We did the bottomless brunch option for $35. It came with an entree and unlimited drink for 90 minutes. Food was nothing special. I had such a blast with my friend and our drinks were kept topped up for the entire time.”

“Took part in a cocktail masterclass led by Scott and it was THE MOST fun I've had at a bar in AGES!! Scott is so funny and charming, and he definitely knows how to work a crowd. I don't have photos of most drinks however we were greeted with a strawberry daiquiri which was just the right amount of fruity and boozy. If you're also doing a cocktail masterclass, I'd highly recommended picking a watermelon cooler as a drink, so incredibly refreshing! Wouldn't have had as much fun if it weren't for Scott. Give this man a raise 😹‼️”

“EDIT: I was asked by the management - who was not onsite to dela with the situation - to remove the images. And I did so, as I am concerned of could be held against me. Again, you go to a place, your order food, it never arrives, you are sent out of the premises, the group was not refunded, and you are still being the wrong here. I can guarantee if it was the other way around, our images would be hanging on the Internet. Oh, and my other friend left with some drink vouchers, as it would sort the whole festival of horror we went through with everyone in the bar watching and not understanding. ****************** Could I give it a zero? We went to this place, a group of 12 ladies and ordered separate foods for our table. Including 2 bottles of cava. We ordered food and only part of the food arrived. After approx. 6 times we went to speak to staff, we were told by the duty manager Sam that our friend had to leave the place, because she approached another staff asking for our food as we had to leave to get a train. Sam was incredibly rude and accused our friend to shout at some of his staff - which we all clearly saw it didn't happen. It is such a shame for this great venue to have to deal with such terrible customer service. Our friend was asked to leave, and it took a full table of 12 of us to leave and leave behind our bottles of sparkling wine and food orders which were ordered separate and never arrived. He gave her a refund of £23 for the food and 1 glass of Prosecco, but never considered the orders of the other friends and the shaming moment he made us all go through due to his unprepared professionalism. Such a young man, we still not understand if his motivations were because we were a group of woman - please note we were not drunk - and we wonder if he would ever speak to a man on the same tone he spoke to us. It is extremely sad to think that, I have worked with this venue before and that, I've been invited to this venue as a potential place to bring my clients in. Unbelievable to think that such a nice place would have staff on site that would kick the guests out because they never received their order. He accused our friend of shouting, we know her for over decades and we know the person she is, the kind that would never raise her voice to anyone, and to be accused of something like this. Was it racism? Was it discrimination? These are sad questions we will have to go on with. Within our group we were most executives from different backgrounds and we tried to speak to him and understand the reason why it happened and I even asked him, if he understood that according to the Customer Law he was acting against it, by creating a situation to accuse someone of something he created on his head. Sad for the board of tourism of Northern Ireland investing millions to make Belfast a wonderful destination and such a silly thing happens due to a totally unprepared staff. The only thing I can make sure is that none of my company's clients will ever step a foot at this venue, and I will make sure it will happen. Thank you. The images show the moment he tried to hold my phone to avoid me from recording what happened.”
