About Sandwich Station

Sandwich Station is a sandwich shop in Belfast at 22 Great Victoria St, close to the bus and train station. Sandwiches are made to order, with customers choosing from a variety of breads and fillings on display. The menu works as a suggestion, so staff will make a sandwich that isn't listed, which suits anyone with a combination in mind. Toasties and panini cover the hot options, and sausage rolls and goujons sit alongside them. Soup and cooked breakfasts round out the range. The shop is open Monday to Friday, daytime only, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Customer Review Summary

The complaints are specific. One tourist who ordered a ham and cheese sandwich opened it two hours later in Dublin to find only mayo and iceberg lettuce, after misunderstanding that every filling must be chosen from the display. Another reviewer shared a photo of a chicken, cheese and sweet chilli panini that they describe as thrown together, undercooked in parts and burnt in others.

“Seen this wee place and thought why not, I'm hungry, I was not let down ..... despite looking like a drowned rat, the staff greated me and even hung my coat up to dry, warm tasty food and a hot cuppa tea with amazing customer service, this place has it all.”

“I think there was a misunderstanding. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich from the board in the shop. I was offered to choose from the display what I wanted in the sandwich, and I thought they meant besides the ham and cheese. After 2 hours I open my sandwich in Dublin and see I have a sandwich with only mayo and iceberg salad.... If you order from this shop, you have to be very specific with your sandwich and repeat what you want inside of it, especially as a tourist. Apparently one is suppose to choose everything you want in the sandwich. I didnt get that part.”
