About Becky's Cafe
Becky's Cafe builds its cooking around the Ulster fry, a plate of bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, potato bread, soda bread and pancake, served at this daytime cafe on the Newtownards Road in Belfast. A pot of tea or a pot of black coffee comes alongside. Payment is cash only, so bring notes or coins, and tables work on a walk-in basis rather than by reservation. The owners are on site with the rest of the team. A step-free entrance lets visitors with mobility needs get in without help, and high chairs mean families with young children can settle in for breakfast. Seating outside gives the option of eating in the open air. The cafe opens every day, mornings included on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
The fry is what reviewers return for, described as great value and the best around. One lays out a full plate of bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, potato bread, soda bread and pancake with a pot of hot black coffee. Another pairs a healthy fry with a pot of tea on regular Sunday mornings. Close behind is the welcome: owners and staff are repeatedly called friendly, and the old school traditional feel stands out to a visitor who says nothing like it is left back in London. A good selection of newspapers also gets a mention. Several say they have been many times, and one plans to come every week during a stay in Belfast. The one complaint concerns Sunday opening, where a reviewer says the website lists 7am and the sign on the door says 7.30am, yet the cafe only opened after 8am. Another reviewer, who arrived without cash at a cash-only cafe, was told to drop the payment in on the way past.
