Quick info
About Blinkers
Blinkers is a diner-style cafe in Belfast at 1 Bridge St, used as a filming location for "Derry Girls". That gives viewers of the show a place to sit down for a meal in the setting. The menu centres on the Ulster Fry, served with potato bread, and the Large Fry comes with 2 of each item. A full soda with bacon, sausage and black pudding is also on offer, and burgers cover the rest of the diner side. Breakfast service starts in the morning, and the cafe takes walk-ins. Vegetarian options are on the menu, and the kitchen caters for allergy requests.

Customer Review Summary
The Ulster Fry draws most reviewers, who describe a full breakfast with potato bread that one diner especially loved, and some come because the cafe appeared as a filming location for Derry Girls. Close behind is the full soda, a sandwich of bacon, sausage and black pudding that one returning visitor called the single best sandwich they have eaten, while another praised the soft, light bun on a burger. Reviewers describe a busy diner with friendly staff, fast service and good coffee, and several call it good value. Portions split opinion. One table that ordered large fries found them smaller than expected, with no beans, mushrooms or tomato, and said the food arrived only after they asked. Another diner was glad the fry was a lot of food even though friends called it a small version. Vegetarian options and allergy catering also earn mentions. One reviewer closes by noting that staff sorted out a problem with a companion's breakfast.

“I'd heard that an Ulster Fry was an iconic meal in Belfast, so when I walked past Blinkers and saw it on the menu, I decided to give it a try. Overall, I enjoyed it, although I've friends who say that this was a small version of a traditional Ulster Fry. If that's the case I'm glad, because it was a lot of food.”
