Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often center on the doner kebab, with several praising the doner meat as soft and juicy and one describing a doner on chips with house sauce and salad as generously portioned, served in a container so full the lid barely closes. Close behind, the mixed kebab on a naan gets singled out as a go to order, with the cheesy naan and garlic sauce also drawing praise, and the curries earn long-standing loyalty from a reviewer who has returned for 25 years. Against this, a substantial run of complaints centers on a decline since a change of ownership, with reviewers describing a korma as watery and full of pepper and chicken madras portions arriving half full and bland for £32. Others report cold donar meat with barely any chicken, a cheesy chip charged with gravy that never arrived, and one takeaway order of steak kebabs and a chicken and rice dish that took nearly two hours to arrive and was largely thrown out. Portion sizes and prices are repeatedly called smaller and more expensive than they used to be.

“Ordered takeaway on one of the apps at 5.39 and the food was finally delivered at 7.25. You'd think the food would be great with that long of a wait, maybe means they are really busy, oh how very wrong I was. Ordered a couple of steak kebabs on chips with salad and a chicken and rice dish. Let's start with the steak, not sure what it was but didn't taste like steak. We felt like we were playing a game to find the chips that werent hard oh and a salad that consists of onions and one tiny piece of tomato. The chicken dish had 3 chillis beside it so maybe a little bit of spice, I hate spicy food and I could have easily ate it. £35 down the shoot as the majority was threw in the bin. First time customer and will definitely not order from there again. It doesn't even deserve a one star. Avoid”

“This place used to be great, now it's absolute garbage. The food is expensive and the portions are small compared to what they used to give. Not recommended.”
- Kyle Cooper
“Doner meat was lovely, soft and juicy unlike the cardboard like meat found in most places.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
